The Scherman Foundation's Arts Program supports organizations in New York City that promote economic, political, and cultural transformation for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Candidates must be fluent in French and become members of the SPFFA. Scholarship amounts range from $4,000 to $25,000, based on the level of study and duration. Eligible applicants include post-doctoral researchers, doctoral and graduate students, and undergraduates with a GPA above 3.00.

The Denton Family Foundation Grant, established by E. Warren Denton, Jr. in 1985, aims to support nonprofit organizations in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. It focuses on community needs, education, church, athletics, and the arts, particularly music. While there is no formal application deadline, proposals are preferred over personal meetings. The foundation, a 501(c)3 private entity, requires organizations to align with its funding priorities to qualify for grants.

Stronger Communities

The Digicel Foundation collaborates with local organizations and communities to support and finance sustainable development initiatives.

In Haiti, there is an adage which goes “men anpil chay pa lou" – it means that where there are many hands, the burden is little. With this meaningful proverb in mind, Digicel Foundation recognizes how vital it is to work in concert with local communities to accompany community members towards a better life.

Upon opening its doors in 2007, the Foundation embarked on a mission to assist in the development of these communities. Not long after, both Digicel and the Digicel Foundation began serving thousands of families who lost everything in the floods of Gonaives. From there, the Digicel Foundation began making substantial impressions across Haiti.

Over the last 19 years, more than one million people have been touched by the Foundation’s social investments in diverse projects impacting various sectors including: education and capacity building, special needs, human rights, the environment, water accessibility, sanitation, agriculture, and technology. Because of our partners’ remarkable efforts, adults have learned how to read, Special Olympic athletes earned many medals center stage at the World Games, hundreds of lives were spared from cholera, and thousands of youth gained access to development programs.

The Digicel Foundation Grants Program has already invested in more than 400 projects. With its longstanding partners, and new partners it meets along the way, the Foundation hopes to deliver many more life-changing projects, while bringing countless hands together to lessen life’s burden for the most vulnerable populations.

On April 1, 2026, the Digicel Foundation proudly launched the 10th edition of its Konbit Pou Chanjman campaign.

This milestone edition carries special significance, as it will award ten local organizations with grants of USD 12,000 each, while also funding a flagship project valued at 10,000,000 gourdes to support the implementation of a community initiative in one of the country’s ten departments.

Organizations interested in bringing impactful projects to life are invited to apply for funding in the following areas: education, culture, inclusion, access, livelihoods, and the environment.

The project submission deadline was May 15, 2026, and the evaluation process has now been completed.

The BCA Arts Fund Grant supports Bronx artists and small arts organizations by funding high-quality arts projects that engage local audiences. With grants up to $5,000 available to individual artists and 501c3 organizations with budgets under $100,000, this initiative aims to enhance the cultural landscape of the Bronx. Applications are open to Bronx residents, artist collectives, and organizations that contribute to community needs and demonstrate artistic innovation.

ConocoPhillips Charitable Investments focuses on local community giving, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving to address unique community needs. Eligible organizations include 501(c) charities, political subdivisions, and accredited schools. Ineligible entities include those promoting religious worship or political advocacy. Recent funding has supported education and social services, particularly in the Permian region, reflecting ConocoPhillips' commitment to responsible citizenship and community enhancement through targeted charitable investments.

The Peckham Family Foundation offers Basic Support Grants aimed at enhancing the quality of life in local communities in New York and New England. The foundation supports various programs focusing on education, arts, and civic engagement. Organizations seeking funding must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt and demonstrate a commitment to community improvement. The Grants Committee, composed of local non-management members, evaluates applications to ensure alignment with the foundation's mission and values.

The Nunnally Foundation Grant supports various charitable activities in the Greater Richmond, Virginia area, with funding typically ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. Established in 1970, the foundation primarily assists organizations that qualify as 501(c)(3) entities. Preference is often given to initiatives related to healthcare, education, human services, religion, and arts and culture, highlighting the foundation's commitment to enhancing community welfare and quality of life.

The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Foundation, established in 2005, aims to enhance community well-being through grants focusing on five key areas: Community Enhancement, Culture, Education, Health, and Native American Interests. Its competitive grant process supports organizations that benefit Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo Counties. The Foundation prioritizes projects that promote environmental preservation, cultural appreciation, educational access, health services, and Native American culture, ensuring no discrimination in its funding practices.

The Cooper Foundation Grant Program aims to enhance the quality of life in Waco, Texas, by providing funding to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Potential applicants are encouraged to submit a Grant Inquiry and consult with Foundation staff to ensure their proposals align with funding priorities. The Foundation supports projects in education, health, arts, culture, and social services, emphasizing community impact and collaboration.

The Cushman Foundation Grant aims to support community and humanitarian efforts in San Diego County. The foundation focuses on areas such as aid to seniors, arts and culture, education, and health and well-being. Eligible applicants include current 501(c)(3) organizations located in the region. The foundation is committed to giving back to the community it has served for generations, fostering positive change and promoting human welfare through its initiatives.

The La Crescent Community Foundation, established in 1995, aims to enhance the quality of life in the La Crescent area through targeted grants. It supports various community projects, including park improvements and educational initiatives, while prioritizing organizations that uphold non-discrimination policies. The Foundation's grants focus on local needs, with a preference for applications from schools and local government agencies. Recent efforts include funding for a new event center, demonstrating a commitment to community development.

The Limoneira Foundation Fund Grant, provided by the Ventura County Community Foundation, supports nonprofit organizations that enhance the economic, social, and cultural vitality of communities in Ventura County. Grant requests should not exceed $10,000 and are not intended for political or religious purposes, ensuring funds are utilized for community benefit.

The State-Local Partners (SLP) Grant Program offers essential operating support and technical assistance to county-designated local arts agencies in California. Through a collaborative effort between the State and counties, this program aims to promote cultural development at the local level. It encourages partnerships that enrich the arts across diverse communities, fostering creative expression and enhancing the quality of life for Californians. Eligible organizations include 501(c)(3) nonprofits and local government units.

The Northern New York Community Foundation offers grants to support diverse programs addressing regional needs, including human services, health, arts, education, and environmental conservation. Eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties can apply. The Foundation evaluates proposals quarterly, with requests of $5,000 or less potentially approved at the committee level, while larger requests require Board review. Applicants will receive notification of award decisions after Board meetings.

The YCF Community Grants provide essential funding for grassroots initiatives focused on Basic Needs and Addiction Prevention in North Central West Virginia. Non-profit organizations and public institutions can apply for support in areas such as housing, utilities, and food, as well as programs aimed at reducing addiction's impact on families. Collaboration with local entities is encouraged, and preference is given to projects addressing high community needs.

The Seeds of Strength Giving Circle empowers women in Georgetown through collective grantmaking, having awarded over $2.3 million to local nonprofits. This initiative supports projects that address critical community needs, focusing on organizations that serve underserved populations and demonstrate measurable outcomes. Grants range from $10,000 to $25,000, fostering collaboration and innovative approaches to enhance community services. Eligible nonprofits must have 501(c)(3) status and operate within specified Georgetown zip codes.

The H-E-B Community Investment Program supports nonprofit organizations within its service area by providing monetary funding, volunteers, or in-kind donations. It prioritizes projects in arts, education, health, and social services. Eligible organizations must have valid 501c3 status and reapply annually for funding. The Ezra M. Cutting Trust Grant, established in 1965, supports charitable organizations in Marlborough, Massachusetts, with a focus on youth services and programs that enhance the community's quality of life. Arizona Public Service (APS) Grant

Since 2001, APS has partnered with Arizona Community Foundation to provide funding to qualified nonprofit agencies that support growth and community needs in the west valley. Agencies eligible for funding must be nonprofit organizations with at least 3 years of continued operation serving residents in the geographical area: North to Bell Road (extend boundary line west when Bell Road ends), West to 459th Avenue, South to Estrella/Gillespie Dam, and East to 19th Avenue.

Statement of Purpose

Through an open, competitive cycle the APS funds will benefit & support eligible nonprofits through grants in the areas of arts & culture, community development, education, environment, and human services.

In addition, the APS Fund encourages and supports projects that meet the following criteria:

• serve a variety of ethnic, economic or cultural backgrounds
• include new or creative solutions to problems or issues
• involve volunteers and in-kind gifts that demonstrate community involvement
• foster cooperative efforts between organizations

The Waukesha County Community Foundation (WCCF) has been supporting nonprofits since 1999 by awarding Community Grants to enhance the quality of life in Waukesha County. Grants range from $1,000 to $10,000 and support areas such as arts, health, education, and environment. Organizations must serve the county and submit evidence of 501(c)(3) status. Collaboration and impact on community outcomes are key preferences for funding.

The Arizona Community Foundation of Cochise Grant supports local nonprofits, schools, and municipalities in southeastern Arizona. Since 1998, ACF has mobilized philanthropy to create lasting impacts through community-driven efforts. Organizations must attend a workshop to apply, ensuring they have the necessary tools for successful applications. Grants are awarded based on local needs, fostering community development and donor engagement for a sustainable future.

The Liberty Giving Circle Grant Program, supported by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, aims to enhance the well-being of Liberty area residents through philanthropic efforts. This grant prioritizes organizations focused on aging, arts and culture, community development, education, health, and social services. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations serving the Liberty community. The program fosters significant local impact by funding projects that align with these areas of interest.

The Dorrance Family Foundation focuses on enhancing community quality of life through education and conservation initiatives. It funds tax-exempt organizations based in Arizona, California, and the Island of Hawai'i, targeting projects in arts, children's health, animal welfare, and sustainable agriculture. The foundation prioritizes organizations with a history of commitment to their mission. They do not support individuals, ensuring grants are directed towards impactful community projects.

The Page/Lake Powell, Tuba City, and Williams Community Funds, part of the Arizona Community Foundation, aim to enhance local philanthropy. These funds, dedicated to specific communities, support local initiatives through grants derived from endowed funds. Community members engage in identifying needs and guiding funding decisions. By collaborating with local organizations, the foundation ensures that resources are allocated effectively, fostering sustainable growth and addressing pressing community issues for the benefit of residents in these areas.
