What is the Grant?

A one-time grant between $500 – $25,000 for PROJECT-BASED resources (such as playgrounds, ball-fields, and community gardens) that enrich at-risk youths’ lives, giving them access to safe places to play and thrive!

The Education & Leadership Impact Grants by BLBB Charitable support nonprofit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area, focusing on college access, economic self-sufficiency, K-12 educational opportunities, and environmental education. Grants over $15,000 are available for multi-year projects aimed at enhancing the lives of disadvantaged youth. Activity 5.3b: Enhancing Rural Cancer-Focused Healthcare (ERCH)

Program Goals: The Enhancing Rural Cancer Healthcare program aims to implement sustainable policy, systems, and environmental change approaches across the rural areas of 8 Regional Chronic Disease Coalitions to reduce the burden of cancer and other chronic and reproductive diseases. There will also be a focus on supporting/providing cancer survivorship care to residents of rural areas. Residents of the rural areas served by this project will receive culturally specific cancer education, outreach, referrals to appropriate screening services, and survivorship care services. These project efforts may reduce cancer incidence and mortality in rural New Jersey.

• Objective 1.1: Reduce cancer mortality and morbidity in New Jersey rural communities.
• Objective 1.2: Establish PSE change strategies to improve the health and well-being of New Jersey rural communities with relation to cancer primary prevention, early detection, and survivorship.
• Objective 1.3: Increased education, outreach, and screening within rural communities related to various cancer, chronic, and reproductive diseases.

The Pathways to Recovery - Round 2 NGO grant aims to support individuals impacted by the opioid epidemic through training, career services, and employment opportunities. It will award funds to five organizations across New Jersey's North, Central, and South regions. The initiative focuses on enhancing workforce readiness and providing essential supportive services, fostering effective transitions to employment over a 24-month period starting June 1, 2025.

The Migrant Education Program-Continuation supports eligible children of migratory farm workers and fishers in Gloucester County. Lawrence Township Community Foundation Grant

The Foundation funds projects that impact the quality of life and well being of the residents of Lawrence Township. In considering each grant, the foundation will consider many tangible and intangible factors to include, but not limited by the following:

• Merits of the project.
• Impact of the quality of life on Lawrence Township residents.
• How broad the potential impact may be.
• The amount of the grant request, the merits of competing grant requests, and the Foundation's available funds.

A grant request can be submitted for any amount up to $3,000. A specific project will not receive more than $3,000 in one calendar year. Organizations may submit an application in the next grant cycle but it must be for a new project.

In most cases, grant awards do not exceed $6,000 in a calendar year to any one organization. However, the Foundation reserves the right to make exceptions, when in its judgment, the needs of the Township and the services provided by the grant recipient are particularly strong.
