Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville
Established in 2008, the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville launched with the generous donation of Founding Benefactors Joe and Pam Alexander. In the years since, the Community Foundation has become a valued community partner convening donors, nonprofit organizations, community groups, local government, and businesses to create new pathways of philanthropy that address our region’s most pressing challenges.

The Think Outside Grant Fund Powered by Polaris seeks to fund projects that expand outdoor recreation opportunities and advance environmental stewardship reflecting Polaris's longstanding commitment to innovation, adventure, and the outdoors. Rooted in the belief that time spent outdoors strengthens both people and communities, this fund invests in initiatives that expand access to outdoor experiences in North Alabama while protecting and enhancing natural environments that make those experiences possible.

Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln
The Community Foundation offers many advantages to donors, professional advisors, nonprofit organizations and the community at large. We constantly strive to ensure that the giving process is as streamlined and safe as possible so our donors can focus on the most important aspect of philanthropy - helping others.
Scholarship Program
The Community Foundation serves the counties of Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan and Sangamon in central Illinois, and administers an annual scholarship program for approximately 50 scholarship funds.
Fred E. Droste Memorial Scholarship
Graduating senior from a high school in Macoupin or Montgomery Counties who is pursuing a degree in a STEAM-related field.

Share Your Story Video Challenge
Does your nonprofit work with low-income members in the Greater Huntsville area? If so, we invite you to participate in our fifth annual video grant competition, now known as Share Your Story Video Challenge (formerly #WeBelieveHSV).
Grant Description
The annual Share Your Story video grant challenge mobilizes generosity to local nonprofits in the Greater Huntsville area, focusing on a new theme each year. Nonprofit organizations create a 60-second video showing their impact and sharing their story, then post their video to Facebook and submit a brief application in the Community Foundation’s online grant portal.
