All applicants must submit a letter of inquiry detailing their mission, project description, community served, and funding request. The foundation does not fund capital campaigns, individuals, or lobbying efforts.

Our programs and activities are so varied and extensive, they touch the life of just about every Floridian.

T. Mark Schmidt Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Program

The purpose of the T. Mark Schmidt Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Program (hereinafter referred to as the OHV Grant Program) is to provide financial assistance to Applicants as further defined below, to provide or improve off-highway vehicle recreational areas or trails for public use on Public Lands. Through the Off-Highway Vehicle Tilting Program, the state of Florida has been allocated funds for implementing this program. The primary purpose of the OHV Grant Program is to provide and/or improve off-highway riding opportunities on Public Lands by establishing and/or maintaining existing or new riding areas; provide enforcement of applicable regulations to the System and off-highway vehicle activities; provide safety, training and rider education in the operation of off-highway vehicles and if funds are available, acquire lands to be included in the System and manage and rehabilitate such lands. Grant awards are recommended by the Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Advisory Committee annually, with final approval by the Commissioner of Agriculture, and appropriated by the Florida Legislature.

Grant Categories

There are five grant categories:

Pre-Construction – Planning, Design, and Permitting of New OHV Areas, Trails and/or Facilities, or expansion of existing OHV Areas.

Construction – Construction of New OHV Areas, Trails and/or Facilities, or expansion of existing riding areas.

Maintenance and Monitoring: A) Repair, Maintenance, Rehabilitation of Existing OHV Areas, Trails, or Facilities. B) Monitoring and Protection of Existing OHV Areas, Trails, or Facilities.

Education: A) Rider Education, Safety, and Training Program. B) Education Outreach.

Acquisition – Acquisition of lands to be included in the System.

The Corporate Giving Program by the Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation focuses on supporting nonprofit organizations within specific states. They prioritize initiatives that enhance community welfare, especially in agriculture, education, health, and environmental sustainability. Organizations must have 501(c)(3) status to apply, and preference is given to those involving Perdue associates. Ineligible requests include those from religious, political, or individual-focused groups. This program emphasizes broad community benefits over organizational affiliations.

The IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area Grant awards at least $100,000 to nonprofit organizations in five focus areas: Arts, Education, Environment, Family, and Health. Funded by member contributions, the grants aim to create significant community impact, with eligibility for tax-exempt organizations based in Escambia or Santa Rosa counties. The application process emphasizes new initiatives and collaboration among nonprofits. Membership donations are collected annually, and grants must be used within 24 months.

The Cutler Bay Community Fund aims to enhance the quality of life in Cutler Bay by supporting 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Initiatives should be impactful, sustainable, and serve the Sarasota and Manatee communities, with detailed budgets and clear definitions of expansion if applicable. Grants exclude funding for debt reduction or political activities.

IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida offers grants to nonprofit organizations in Okaloosa and Walton Counties, aiming to fund high-impact projects that transform lives. Grants start at $100,000, with specific focus areas including education, environment, family, health & recreation, and arts & culture. Eligible organizations must be tax-exempt and serve local communities. The grant process encourages collaboration among nonprofits, fostering innovative solutions for community needs.

The Mutual of America Foundation Community Partnership Award honors exemplary nonprofit organizations in the U.S. that foster collaborative partnerships across sectors. Annually, a national competition showcases numerous organizations demonstrating impactful community partnerships. Six organizations receive recognition, including the Thomas J. Moran Award, which offers $100,000, and the Frances R. Hesselbein Award, granting $75,000. Since 1996, the award has acknowledged 262 partnerships, emphasizing Mutual of America's commitment to societal improvement through collaboration.

The Ibis Charities Foundation Grant supports 501(c)(3) charities in Palm Beach County. Eligible organizations must maintain good standing with the IRS and the Florida Secretary of State. The foundation funds projects in various areas including education, health and wellness, arts, and the environment, focusing on initiatives that yield measurable outcomes. General funding may be considered if it aligns with the charity's core mission. Notably, grants are not available for individual support or charities outside the designated region.

The Georgia-Pacific Foundation Grant supports organizations in the Metro Atlanta area, focusing on education, entrepreneurship, community enrichment, and environmental sustainability. Established in 1958, the foundation prioritizes investments that align with its mission and values, promoting long-term well-being within communities where Georgia-Pacific operates. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, public schools, and local government entities located within 30 miles of GP manufacturing sites.

The TJX Foundation Grants support nonprofit organizations located within 15 miles of a TJX store that align with their community mission.
