Paul and Linda Mulligan Scholarship for Business

This scholarship provides financial support to a graduate or graduating senior of a Henderson County public high school or Venice High School in Sarasota, Florida who is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business at either a public or a private (non-profit) college or university. 

The schlarship is renewable.

Passage to the Future Scholarship

Applicant must have graduated from a Henderson County public or private high school and attained a GPA of at least a "C" or its equivalent. Applicant may be planning to attend a two-year or a four-year institution.

Applicant must demonstrate financial need and plan to pursue an education beyond 12th grade by attending an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning.

Morris Kaplan Kiwanis Scholarship

The recipient shall be a citizen and resident of Henderson County and shall have graduated from a high school in Henderson County. 

The schlarship is renewable.

The Pilot Project Grant at Western Washington University aims to initiate innovative research and creative endeavors. With funding up to $5,000, it supports diverse activities such as proof-of-principle projects, planning meetings, and data gathering for new collaborations. Open to all non-student employees, the program encourages exploration beyond traditional research boundaries. However, it does not fund fixed-term activities or ongoing projects. This initiative is designed to foster long-term, impactful scholarly work within the university.

The AGRI Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Certification Cost Share Grant Program assists Minnesota growers and handlers in implementing essential food safety measures. Funded by the Agricultural Growth, Research, and Innovation Fund, this program offers reimbursement of up to 75% of GAP/GHP certification costs, with a maximum of $2,500. Eligible applicants must be certified by an accredited body between May 16, 2023, and May 15, 2024, and located in Minnesota.

About Francis H. and Margery T. Escott Scholarship

This scholarship is for a student in need of financial support who is pursuing an education beyond high school. Preference will be given to a student pursuing a career in math or business administration.

Scholarships

The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County provide scholarship opportunities for local students to pursue their educational goals. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate, medical and professional school students who are attending community colleges, four-year universities and career/technical schools.

Thomas M. Colella & Florence M. Colella Scholarship Fund

The Thomas M. Colella & Florence M. Colella Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide a full tuition, multi-year scholarship for a student from Western Pennsylvania, specifically for a student entering Grove City college for undergraduate studies. The award is a “last-dollar award,” which means the funding released each year will take into account any additional public funding, grants or scholarships for which the student is eligible in that given year.

Award Type: Multi-Year (up to 4 years). Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and degree enrollment at Grove City College.

The Amy Heryford Ousley and James Heryford Ousley Educational Fund, established in 2005, provides scholarships to Klamath and Lake County students attending nonprofit colleges in the U.S. The fund, initially valued at $6.5 million, has awarded over $2.5 million in scholarships. Eligible students must have attended a Klamath County high school for four years, maintain a minimum GPA, and enroll as full-time students. Scholarships can reach up to $3,000 annually for up to five years.

The BICA Microgrant, offered by the Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art, provides a $300 no-strings-attached grant for artists and curators in the greater Buffalo area. This initiative aims to support creative projects that include public events and take place within a three-month timeframe. By offsetting costs associated with exhibitions and performances, the grant empowers underrepresented artists, fostering a vibrant cultural scene in Buffalo.

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) is launching the Regional Site Readiness Program to enhance infrastructure for 150 acres of industrial property in Gallatin County. This initiative aims to attract private investments and create new job opportunities in industrial sectors. Eligible entities include special units of government focused on maintaining ports and terminals. Grants will be awarded on a reimbursement basis to ensure effective use of funds and promote economic growth in the region.

The Hather Family Scholarship, established by Don and Betty Hather through the Juneau Community Foundation, aims to support Skagway High School graduates in their pursuit of higher education. Open to the 2025 graduating class and past graduates, the scholarship offers awards ranging from $1,000 to $3,000, totaling up to $15,000 for the year. Applicants will be evaluated based on their application, personal essay, and letter of recommendation.

The Bob and Darlene (Phelps) Stutte Family Scholarship Fund, established by Bob Stutte through the Juneau Community Foundation, offers two $2,500 awards for eligible high school seniors or recent graduates from specific local schools. This scholarship supports students pursuing higher education, covering tuition and necessary academic materials. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and provide a personal essay along with two letters of recommendation, ensuring that those with a GPA of 3.5 or lower can also apply.

The Alma Harris Scholarship Fund, established by Don Harris at the Juneau Community Foundation, honors his wife Alma Harris, a dedicated English teacher for over 20 years. This $10,000 scholarship supports one graduating senior from a Juneau High School pursuing higher education. It can cover tuition or necessary educational expenses such as books and supplies. Selection is based on the application, personal essay, and recommendation letter, ensuring that all eligible seniors have an opportunity to apply.

Luther A. and Evelyn L. Belden Memorial Scholarship Fund

Supporting graduating high school seniors who are residents of Hatfield, MA, or graduating seniors of Smith Academy. If no qualified applicants meet these criteria, then any qualified applicant who is a graduating senior and a resident of Hampshire County shall be considered.

The Jack Steele Memorial Scholarship at Montana State University is designed for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering. This scholarship is part of the university's commitment to providing educational opportunities that can transform lives and communities. Limited scholarships are available for incoming students, highlighting MSU's dedication to supporting future leaders in engineering and related fields.

The Simon and Anna Kirk Memorial Scholarship, established by Michael Kirk at the Juneau Community Foundation, awards $1,750 annually to one male and one female senior from Juneau Douglas High School or Yaakoosge Daakahidi High School. The scholarship supports students demonstrating dependability, effort, and financial need, providing up to $7,000 over four years for tuition and necessary academic supplies. Recipients must maintain good standing and will receive funds sent directly to their educational institution.

Permelia A. Butterfield Scholarship Fund

Supporting students, under 21 years of age, with one or both parents deceased, all Christian religious sects and denominations and who are residents of Franklin County; preference for the Town of Orange.

The STEM Innovation Grant by Colocation America supports innovative STEM programs for K-12 students, offering up to $7,500 in funding. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations and schools with STEM-specific programming. The grant aims to inspire youth through unique learning approaches and real-world applications of STEM knowledge. Interested parties must attend a mandatory informational call, with funding available for tools, curriculum development, and professional training.

The NIOSH Miner Safety and Health Training Program aims to enhance health and safety training for miners in the Western United States. With mining fatalities significantly higher than the national average, this initiative seeks to address critical training needs by developing effective programs, increasing qualified instructors, and ensuring compliance with existing safety guidelines. By focusing on culturally appropriate training methods and collaborative efforts with other agencies, the program aims to reduce injuries and fatalities in the mining sector.

Ronald A. Copes Scholarship Fund

Supporting graduating high school seniors from Springfield, MA or Hartford, CT who have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and who indicate participation in extracurricular activities.

The American Floral Endowment (AFE) offers educational grants aimed at enhancing the floriculture industry through innovative programs. With over $3 million funded since its inception, AFE supports initiatives targeting young people and addressing industry challenges. Grants range from $500 to $10,000 annually, encouraging multi-year projects that benefit broad geographical areas. Scholarship to benefit students graduating from an Anchorage high school who are interested in vocational studies, pre-med, law, theology, sports or other areas specified in the scholarship guidelines.

The Toby Gamble and Janet Helen Tolan Gamble Educational Scholarship was established at The Alaska Community Foundation in 2015, with the inaugural scholarship cycle beginning in the spring of 2018. The Gambles wanted to support the post-secondary goals of students in Anchorage, a place they made their home for nearly sixty years.
