Beverage Container Recycling Grants
The Beverage Container Recycling Grant (BCRG) Program aims to reach and maintain an 80% recycling rate for all California Refund Value (CRV) beverage containers – aluminum, glass, plastic, and bi-metal.This grant program encourages market development and expansion activities for beverage container materials by helping organizations establish convenient recycling and litter abatement projects.

Environmental Stewardship: Research Grants
FAO, through its Environmental Stewardship Pillar of Prosperity Fund, offers funding opportunities to advance conservation, environmental stewardship and the greater well-being of Appalachian Ohio.
FAO welcomes proposals for projects that result in scalable change, with a priority for projects that will impact multiple counties. FAO will consider funding requests between $5,000 and $50,000 per project, and at least $150,000 is available to award. We encourage applicants to propose research with the potential to significantly impact the understanding of aquatic biodiversity, water quality and threats to healthy habitats. The following examples illustrate eligible projects, but proposals are not limited to the listed areas.
Purpose
The purpose of this grant program is to support landowners in restoring their forests or assist with establishing new forests. Healthy forests cover provide vital services to our communities, such as clean water, wildlife habitat, a sustainable economic resource, and is an essential tool in mitigating the impacts of climate change. Today, New York forests face challenges to regeneration including:
Active management of our forests is essential to increase the health and resiliency of New York’s forests and the continued regeneration of young trees into the future.
Through Regenerate NY, landowners can apply for financial assistance for projects on their land that support the establishment and renewal of healthy forests. New this year, grants will follow a new system called a Performance Based Payment. This new payment structure will allow landowners to receive partial advance payments to carry out planned work, by submitting workplans and budgets at the beginning of the planning process. Funds will be released each year of the project following the workplan and annual reports.

401 Suicide Prevention Call Center EnhancementThe Department of Human Services Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to fund the capacity expansion of its Suicide and Crisis Lifelines. Entities applying are expected to answer calls that are geo-routed by county and must be able to respond to text and chat interactions that are routed statewide.
This grant is a performance-based grant. Applicants are expected to demonstrate past performance operating a Suicide and Crisis Lifeline center. For applicants without Lifeline call center experience, proposals must demonstrate the ability to meet the expectations outlined in this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).Funding Purpose: The general purpose of this program's funding is to Prioritize equitable, efficient, reliable and timely access across call, chat and text for persons experiencing a behavioral health or other crisis. To expand contact center capacity to response to calls, chats and texts in Illinois.
