Danny Did Foundation

The Danny Did Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation organized in the state of Illinois and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501©(3) tax-exempt organization. 

Founded by Chicagoans Mike and Mariann Stanton in January 2010 after the death of their four-year-old son Danny, the Danny Did Foundation works toward its mission to prevent deaths caused by seizures with these main goals in mind: advancing public awareness of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), enhancing SUDEP education and disclosure between medical professionals and families afflicted by seizures, and the mainstreaming of seizure detection and prediction devices that may assist in preventing seizure-related deaths.

EADDW Travel Assistance Grant

Epilepsy Education Expo and Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyworld (EADDW) is an event for people of all ages with epilepsy, their families and friends, and those interested in raising awareness for epilepsy. The free EXPO will feature exhibitors and presentations including the newest breakthroughs in medications, technology and more! The FREE Epilepsy Awareness and Education Expo will be held on April 25th at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Orlando Florida. Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyworld will be held on April 26th.

This initiative empowers students to engage with real-world challenges through hands-on learning experiences. Eligible schools must offer PLTW Engineering courses, ensuring access to quality education for students from diverse backgrounds. With a total grant of $40,000 over two years, this program seeks to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.

The PLTW Engineering Program Expansion by Burns and McDonnell aims to enhance STEM education in eligible communities. This initiative supports schools in expanding their existing PLTW Engineering programs, providing students with hands-on experiences and essential skills. The program focuses on empowering students through new courses and teacher training, ensuring access for underrepresented populations. By fostering excitement around STEM, Burns and McDonnell is committed to shaping the future workforce and enhancing educational opportunities in critical areas.

The Best Buy Teen Tech Center is offering a Mini Tech Skills Workshop Grant to support local and national non-profits in providing STEAM skills workshops for youth aged 13-19. These workshops, which include topics such as coding, filmmaking, and robotics, aim to enhance technical skills and career exploration. Funding can reach up to $24,999, with a focus on hands-on, facilitator-led experiences, and additional programming opportunities may be considered.

CFF Grassroots Grants

Grants will focus on building infrastructure and capability for grassroots nonprofits. Infrastructure and capability may include efforts to improve governance, financial management, fundraising and development, program evaluation, technology, and continuous learning.

This year, we are looking for organizations working in human services, education, veterans, food security, Alzheimer’s, youth development, and health and well-being.

STEP Spasticity Scholarship

The Academy is excited to offer free registration (a $2,500 value) for at least five (5) eligible 4th-year Residents and Fellows interested in spasticity management. This program is designed to provide advanced training through a combination of online and live learning, including a hands-on skills assessment.  

Program Details

Participants will complete:

• Baseline pre-test and Online Program (9.5 hours of education).
• Live course on November 10-11, 2026, as a pre-course to the Annual Assembly (arrival on the evening of November 9, 2026), followed by a case log at your institution.
• Online post-test and live skills assessment TBA.

The SoCal SOT Graduate Student Travel Award aims to support an outstanding graduate student researcher from Southern California in attending the SOT Annual Meeting. Applicants must provide their submitted abstract and an updated CV showcasing their academic achievements. The selected winner will receive $1,000 to help cover travel expenses, facilitating their participation in this important scientific gathering.

The FAIRWINDS Foundation Grants support Central Florida's economically vulnerable populations, including homeless youth and veterans, by providing philanthropic grants aimed at enhancing financial literacy. Organizations applying must align with the foundation's priorities and demonstrate a solid financial position along with measurable community impact. This initiative fosters growth and well-being in the community, making a significant difference in the lives of those in need.

The Neighborhood Builders Program, supported by Bank of America, empowers 501(c)(3) nonprofits through a two-year leadership development initiative. Participants receive funding, training, and networking opportunities to enhance their impact in communities. Since its inception, the program has invested over $346 million, training more than 4,000 leaders. The initiative focuses on advancing social mobility and economic opportunities, ensuring affordable housing, and fostering resilient communities. This program is vital for nonprofits aiming to strengthen their leadership and community engagement.

The Smallwood Foundation Grant supports charitable purposes within a hundred-mile radius of Dallas/Fort Worth, Gainesville, and Minden. It focuses on areas such as Arts and Culture, Civic Activities, Community Development, Education, and Human and Social Services. However, individuals are not eligible to submit applications. This grant offers an opportunity for organizations within the specified regions to seek funding for meaningful projects that positively impact their communities.

The IVAM MB Research Award recognizes exceptional contributions by postdoctoral scholars in the field of in vitro and alternative methods toxicology. Applicants must submit an outstanding abstract accompanied by a letter of support from their advisor. The award includes a $500 prize and emphasizes practical applications over basic research. Judging is conducted by a panel from MB Research and the IVAM Executive Committee, with only abstracts submitted for the Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting being eligible.

International Paper Grants focus on community engagement, emphasizing education, hunger relief, health & wellness, and disaster relief. They support nonprofit organizations that demonstrate good financial standing and effective management. Eligible organizations must operate in areas where International Paper has facilities. The foundation prioritizes local needs, particularly critical and environmental issues, while encouraging employee involvement. Ineligible entities include private foundations and those without a local presence. Applications are accepted through mid-September in the U.S. and Canada.

The TD Bank Community Sponsorships Program, supported by the TD Charitable Foundation, provides funding for events and activities that positively impact communities from Maine to Florida. The Suncoast Credit Union Foundation Grant Program aims to enhance the education, health, and emotional well-being of children within the community. Funded entirely by the Suncoast Credit Union, it supports local initiatives through a unique program where every debit or credit card purchase contributes to the foundation. Since its establishment in 1990, it has allocated over $53 million in funding and scholarships, emphasizing measurable results and compliance with anti-discrimination laws for eligible organizations.

The Florida Financial Literacy Initiative Grants, established by the Florida Literacy Coalition in partnership with Wells Fargo, aim to enhance financial literacy among participants in adult education and family literacy programs. Grants of up to $5,000 will support these programs in integrating financial education into their curricula. By focusing on parent-child interactive literacy activities and providing essential training for parents, the initiative promotes lifelong financial skills and well-being within communities across Florida.

The First Horizon Foundation, a private charitable organization established in 1993, has committed over $100 million to various community initiatives. Focused on areas such as arts, education, environment, and health, it aims to address pressing community needs, particularly in Florida. Eligible entities include organizations in specified counties, while support is not available for individuals or certain types of organizations. The foundation's recent efforts also extend to the newly formed Louisiana First Horizon Foundation.

JetBlue For Good is JetBlue's commitment to social impact, focusing on youth education, environmental sustainability, and community support. By partnering with various nonprofits, JetBlue inspires the next generation, promotes environmental awareness, and contributes to local communities through volunteerism and donations. The JetBlue Foundation specifically supports STEM and aviation education, enhancing opportunities for underrepresented communities. With over $2.5 million allocated in grants, JetBlue For Good reflects the airline's core mission of inspiring humanity and fostering positive change.

The Track Shack Youth Foundation Grant supports youth programs in Central Florida, emphasizing health and fitness initiatives. Established in 1994, the foundation has invested over $2 million in the community, primarily targeting Orange and surrounding counties. Grants typically range from $500 to $2,000. The foundation prioritizes funding for ongoing programs rather than one-time events and does not cover race entry fees, focusing on sustainable community development.

The JetBlue Foundation is dedicated to enhancing aviation-related education and STEM initiatives, aiming to inspire future aviation leaders. Offering grants up to $50,000, it supports educational organizations that focus on aviation technology, engineering, operations, and maintenance. The foundation prioritizes programs benefiting under-represented communities in aviation, including veterans, women, and diverse groups, ensuring a broader range of voices in the industry.

The Colon Cancer Coalition offers the Get Your Rear in Gear Grants to support local programs aimed at improving colon cancer screening and awareness. Open year-round, applications are reviewed biannually in February and August. Grants fund initiatives that educate the public about colon cancer and alleviate the financial burden on patients. By applying, organizations commit to promoting local events that raise funds for these important community programs.

Insperity's Corporate Contributions program emphasizes community involvement and corporate citizenship, providing philanthropic grants and event sponsorships to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Eligible organizations must engage Insperity employees or contribute to the communities where they operate. The program aims to support nonprofits in achieving their service goals and enhancing community welfare. Applications must be submitted 90 days prior to events, and funding requests can be made once a year.
