Some of the funds help students from a particular school or area; others provide financial assistance to those pursuing a specific field of study; still others assist students that are most in need. Students who apply to the Scholarship program may be eligible for many of these funds.

• Scholarships may be used to offset tuition, fees, room and board, and other items included as part of the cost for attending the institution. 
• Most scholarships are for students who live in Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties. However, some are also available to students who live in Berkshire County and Hartford County in Connecticut.
• We offer scholarships to those who attend on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Raymond E. Carr Scholarship Fund

Supporting students attending American International College, Elms College, Springfield College, Western New England University or Westfield State University

Ronald A. Copes Scholarship Fund

Supporting graduating high school seniors from Springfield, MA or Hartford, CT who have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and who indicate participation in extracurricular activities.

The Mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the Coastal Bend by building community endowment and addressing social, educational, environmental, and cultural needs through the awarding of grants and scholarships.

Scholarships

The CBCF scholarship is open each year. Scholarships awarded will be for the following academic year. Scholarships are available only to students who graduated from a high school in one of the counties in the CBCF Service Area: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio. Thanks to our generous donors, the Coastal Bend Community Foundation (CBCF) offers scholarships to students from over 100 funds. 

Flinn - Dorothy and John Flinn Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is exclusively available to a Sinton or Taft ISD graduating senior, with a minimum 2.0 GPA, and the student must complete an essay on the applicant’s community service.

The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation (AAACF) is a philanthropic organization with a broad community focus: enriching the quality of life in Washtenaw County.

Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of our donors who care deeply about the future of Washtenaw County youth, AAACF has awarded over $650,000 in 2025 across 26 scholarship funds in support of students as they continue their post-secondary educations at schools across the nation.

Sara Marie Diepenhorst Memorial Scholarship

For graduating seniors at a Taylor high school attending University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.

Stanley Ciejek, Sr. Scholarship Fund

Supporting residents of Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire Counties

The Alice McCaffrey Scholarship Fund, established in 2013 by Saints John and Paul parishioners, honors Father Joseph McCaffrey on his 25th priestly anniversary. Named after his mother, Alice, the fund supports seminarians pursuing pastoral experiences beyond seminary training. Over the past four years, it has awarded $69,000 to nine seminarians, enriching their training by engaging in mission work across Brazil and Mexico. Applicants will be notified of their awards in April to plan their summers accordingly.

The Monticello Excellence in Education Fund, managed by the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, supports the Monticello School District through grants awarded annually. This endowment fund enhances educational opportunities by providing resources for programs not typically covered by public funding. Donations are welcome year-round and are tax-deductible, making them a meaningful way to invest in the future of education in Southern Wisconsin.

The New Glarus Excellence in Education Fund, managed by the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, supports the New Glarus School District with private resources. This endowment fund enhances educational opportunities beyond the standard budget, ensuring quality education for current and future students. Donations are welcome year-round and are tax-deductible, making a meaningful impact on the community. Grants are awarded annually for special projects that enrich the learning environment.

Christine Mitus Rose Memorial Scholarship Fund

To support students who have a parent who is deceased; preference for those who have had a parent die from cancer.

With over 700 charitable funds totaling more than $50 million, the foundation enhances the quality of life across nine counties in Southern Wisconsin. This fund plays a crucial role in funding educational programs that are not typically covered by tax revenue, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education for future success.

To support students in western Massachusetts who are pursuing post secondary studies at a two- or four-year college.

Oram Family Scholarship Fund

To support students majoring in science or art, with a preference for students of color, as defined by the Foundation.

The PFC Shane W. Cantu Grant, established by the Shiawassee Community Foundation, honors the memory of PFC Shane W. Cantu, who died in Afghanistan in 2012. This fund supports the community by providing flexible giving options, ensuring that donations enhance lives in Shiawassee County while maintaining responsible stewardship of charitable funds. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to fostering strong community relationships and making a lasting impact.

Rintoul Education Fund

For Residents of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts.

The Physician and Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship Program at Aspirus Wausau Hospital offers a 12-month, full-time opportunity for recent family medicine graduates and practicing physicians. This program aims to enhance skills in hospital medicine, with flexible start dates and two fellowship spots available annually. Aspirus Health, a nonprofit health system in Wisconsin, operates multiple facilities and employs a large team of healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive training and support for fellows.

Some of the funds help students from a particular school or area; others provide financial assistance to those pursuing a specific field of study; still others assist students that are most in need. Students who apply to the Scholarship program may be eligible for many of these funds.

• Scholarships may be used to offset tuition, fees, room and board, and other items included as part of the cost for attending the institution. 
• Most scholarships are for students who live in Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties. However, some are also available to students who live in Berkshire County and Hartford County in Connecticut.
• We offer scholarships to those who attend on either a full-time or part-time basis. 
• Any student who plans to enroll for the upcoming fall semester, in any year of college as an undergraduate or graduate student and who will attend an accredited post-secondary school in the United States may apply.
• Scholarships are provided for one academic year and are not automatically renewed each year. You can reapply to our program every year you are going to attend college, and the application you submit that year will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.
