Biochemical and Molecular Characterization of Marstacimab and TFPI Pathways
This competitive grant encompasses research aimed at elucidating molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying marstacimab-TFPI interactions, including but not limited to differential expression of tissue factor and TFPI in various tissues, binding kinetics, and other biochemical properties. Projects should seek to advance foundational understanding of these interactions through innovative approaches in biochemistry, molecular biology, and related disciplines.
Project Types and Area of Interest
Projects that will be considered for Pfizer support will focus on basic science and fundamental biological understanding of Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI), anti-TFPI Monoclonal Antibodies, and marstacimab. The areas of interest may include (but are not limited to):

Today, Michigan Sugar Company is the third largest beet sugar processor in the United States, producing an annual average of about 1.3 billion pounds of sugar.

Michigan Sugar Festival Queen Scholarship
The Michigan Sugar Festival Queen Program, managed by the Sebewaing Chamber of Commerce and Festival Committee and sponsored in part by Michigan Sugar Company, celebrates and promotes the sugarbeet industry. This scholarship is designed for candidates with strong ties to Michigan sugarbeet farming, reflecting the importance of industry connection and representation.
All contestants will attend the Opening Ceremony of the Michigan Sugar Festival.
Contest winners will be required to attend a certain number of parades, events, and social commitments requested by Michigan Sugar Festival Committee. In addition, the following year’s Michigan Sugar Queen Interview Day, Michigan Sugar Queen Crowning Event, the Michigan Sugar Festival Grand Parade as the past year’s queen and court, along with parades in Bay, Huron, Sanilac, and Tuscola Counties.
Recommendations in support of applications could be from teachers, counselors, pastor, employer, or other respected business officials.
A. M. and May Abel Memorial Scholarship
Anthony M. Abel, brother of W. H. Abel of Montesano, was born in Sussex, England and raised in Salina, Kansas.
He earned his law degree from the University of Kansas, and established a successful law practice in 1903. There he married May Rosmond. Abel went on to become one of western Washington’s most highly regarded lawyers.
The A. M. and May Abel Memorial Scholarship is open to all applicants who satisfy the general eligibility requirements of the Scholarship Program.
Accreditation Sustainability Learning Community RFA
The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), through the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG), is currently accepting applications for participation in a learning lab that will foster health department capacity to build a sustainable public health accreditation culture within their agencies. This opportunity is open to applicants from direct PHIG awardees at the state-, big city-, and county-level.
Building Capacity for Communicating Impact Learning Community RFA
Learn how to communicate about Public Health Infrastructure Grant impact through a new community of practice! Through peer learning, technical assistance, and practical tools, participating teams will build strategic leadership and communications skills to more effectively translate public health achievements into compelling messages for key audiences. All directly funded PHIG recipients (big-city, county, state/territory-level governmental public health professionals) are eligible to apply.

CDBG Competitive Cycle allows communities to apply for improvements to nearly any publicly-owned facility or infrastructure, as well as the clearance of vacant, dilapidated buildings.
The General Infrastructure category helps improve local, publicly owned streets, drainage, bridges, and other infrastructure activities. Reliable and sustainable infrastructure helps support the business community as well as residents. This excludes drinking water and wastewater projects which the applicant should apply for under the water/wastewater program. Downtown areas help define communities and invigorate tourism. The State of Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) administers the Downtown Revitalization Program to assist with impactful downtown improvement projects to revitalize the cultural heartbeat of communities through redevelopment. These projects eliminate slum and blight conditions on the front and selected side facades of eligible buildings in core downtown areas, and address code violations for commercial structures. Sub recipients are prohibited from using Downtown Revitalization program funds for improvements within residential portions of mixed-use buildings. Project buildings must be situated within a downtown target area, as defined by the community, in which at least 25% of all buildings are judged through individual surveys and documentation to be in either fair or poor condition.

The Industrial Infrastructure program will assist local governments in the development of public infrastructure that allows industries to locate new facilities, expand existing facilities, or prevent the relocation or closing of a facility. The Industrial Infrastructure Program involves participation from both the application sponsor (city/county) and the participating business. Eligible applicants include non-entitlement Cities and Counties.
Grant funds may be used for public streets, water or sewer lines, engineering and other public facilities necessary to support the private sector project. A public entity must own the facilities to be funded.

Emergency funding is available for projects that address a serious and immediate threat to the health and welfare of the community. The condition must be of recent origins (within 18 months of the event that caused the emergency), and the applicant must demonstrate that other financial resources are not available to address the need. All proposed activities must meet applicable CDBG eligibility requirements and a national objective. Emergency projects are typically evaluated under the Urgent Need national objective. Proposals are accepted at any time, but must be submitted within the required 18-month period. CDBG staff will review the proposal for eligibility and then invite the community to apply if conditions are met.
To apply for an emergency project, please first reach out to the CDBG Project Development team for consult on the project. This will help ensure eligibility. Once the approval has been given for submitting an application, one of the team members will provide an application. It is encouraged to also reach out to the environmental review team to better understand what is needed and what can be waived for the emergency project.

The Water/Wastewater category provides funding for communities to make improvements to drinking water and wastewater systems, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the US Department of Agriculture, Rural Development. Proposals can be obtained from the main funding partner at the time a gap in financing is identified. The Missouri Water and Wastewater Review Committee will help determine financing structures available among the participating agencies. If a need for CDBG funding is identified, the community will be invited to make full application.
Grants may be used for construction that is related to water treatment and distribution, and sewer treatment and collection for publicly owned systems. Operation and maintenance activities and not eligible.
Bridging the Gap Scholarship
This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Trey Powell and Bridget Horn, who were both Veterans that lost their battle with PTSD to suicide. The Stronger Together Foundation strives to bring awareness to the large number of Veterans who face crises and ultimately commit suicide, as well as provide support to the families left behind.

Students can be full-time nursing students, employed nurses seeking additional education, full-time allied health students, employed health providers wanting to specialize and high school students enrolled in the Governor’s Health Academy at Susie G. Allied Health/Graduate Scholarship is designed to assist those who seek to enter into or advance in a health-related field. This scholarship is for full-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree and for those pursuing a graduate degree in a health-related field. Examples of professionals and degree programs include dietitians, speechlanguage pathologists, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, audiologists, medical assistants, pharmacy technicians, diagnostic medical sonographers, dental hygienists, certified nurse’s assistant, nurse practitioner and licensed practical nurse to name a few.

AMS Organology Study Group Travel Grants
The AMS Organology Study Group Travel Grants program provides travel grants to support AMS Annual Meeting attendance for students and recent graduates with research interests in organology and/or other intersections of music and material culture studies. In addition to supporting attendance at the annual meeting, this program also introduces recipients to a network of scholars working in the field of organology. In 2026, selected recipients will not receive travel grants because the 2026 AMS Annual Meeting is being held online, but will instead receive complimentary registration for the conference. The 2026 AMS Annual Meeting will be held 14–15 November and 19–20 November 2026.
The purpose of the program is to defray costs associated with attending the AMS Annual Meeting and participating in Organology Study Group (OSG) activities. Recipients will be required to attend the Organology Study Group's paper session at the 2026 AMS Annual Meeting.
The Organology Study Group Travel Grants program was established in 2024 with the generous support of the American Musical Instrument Society (AMIS). In addition to complimentary registration for the 2026 AMS Annual Meeting, recipients will receive one year of complimentary membership in the AMIS.
