Search Through Health and Wellness Grants for Nonprofits in Florida

The P/Arts Program

The P/Arts Program was created to strengthen connections between the philanthropic, arts, and education communities, fostering meaningful collaborations that enrich learning and inspire growth.

Eligible applicants must be accredited 501(c)(3) organizations that integrate visual and/or performing arts education into their work. Through P/Arts, we seek to support programs that:

• Revitalize learning by enhancing and transforming outdated public school curricula.
• Motivate and inspire students of all ages, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.
• Empower educators by deepening professional development opportunities for teachers, professors, and childcare providers.
• Bridge the gap between school and home, creating continuity in learning and support for children and families.
• Apply evidence-based, arts-based instruction proven to strengthen both academic and personal outcomes.
• Address inequities in education by helping to close the achievement gap and expand access to high-quality learning opportunities.

At its heart, the P/Arts Program reflects our belief that the arts are a powerful driver of educational transformation, unlocking potential not just in the classroom but in entire communities.

The Peacock Foundation Inc. grants support the health and well-being of South Florida's children and families through contributions to eligible 501(c)(3) public charities. The foundation prioritizes proposals that address human services, education, health, youth, elderly care, disabilities, arts for educational purposes, and environmental education. All applicants must submit a letter of inquiry detailing their mission, project description, community served, and funding request. The foundation does not fund capital campaigns, individuals, or lobbying efforts.

The FirstBank Charitable Foundation (FBCF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2008, focused on supporting charitable organizations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. With over a million dollars awarded, FBCF aims to enhance community well-being through partnerships in health, housing, and education. Nonprofits aligning with FBCF's mission and demonstrating significant service impact are encouraged to apply for grants, fostering a stronger fabric within their neighborhoods.

The Tony Robbins Foundation Grant aims to empower individuals and organizations to improve the lives of marginalized communities, including youth, seniors, and the homeless. By providing financial support to aligned nonprofits, the foundation seeks to create impactful changes globally. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits or recognized international entities, with a mission statement that resonates with the foundation's goals. The foundation does not fund personal projects or startups.

The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) aims to empower at-risk children in Central Florida through funding programs that focus on arts, education, health, and homelessness. Over its 35-year history, OMYF has distributed over $30 million to local nonprofits and hosts community fundraising events. Eligible organizations must have 501(c)3 status, serve youth or families in specific counties, and demonstrate strong measurable outcomes. Ineligible requests include capital campaigns and public schools.

The IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area Grant awards at least $100,000 to nonprofit organizations in five focus areas: Arts, Education, Environment, Family, and Health. Funded by member contributions, the grants aim to create significant community impact, with eligibility for tax-exempt organizations based in Escambia or Santa Rosa counties. The application process emphasizes new initiatives and collaboration among nonprofits. Membership donations are collected annually, and grants must be used within 24 months.

The Impact 100 SRQ Grant aims to empower women as philanthropists, offering a minimum of $100,000 for transformational local initiatives. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) public charities with at least 24 months of operation and a commitment to transparency regarding legal actions. Initiatives should be impactful, sustainable, and serve the Sarasota and Manatee communities, with detailed budgets and clear definitions of expansion if applicable. Grants exclude funding for debt reduction or political activities.

Enterprise Community Partners

Enterprise Community Partners is a national nonprofit that exists to make a good home possible for the millions of families without one. Home is where life happens, where plans are made, and futures begin. It is the foundation for dignity, health, education, wealth, and community. Yet rents keep going up, paychecks don’t keep pace, and good homes in strong neighborhoods are increasingly out of reach.

The system doesn’t work. It must be changed, and it must be changed by us.

Enterprise has the breadth, scale, and expertise to do it. We support community development organizations on the ground. We aggregate and invest billions to improve housing and strengthen communities across the U.S. We advance housing policy at every level of government. We build and manage communities ourselves. Together with our partners, we focus on the greatest need — the massive shortage of affordable rental homes — to achieve three goals:

• Increase the supply of affordable homes
• Advance racial equity after decades of systematic racism in housing
• Support residents and strengthen communities to be resilient to the unpredictable, and make upward mobility possible

Since 1982, we have invested $92.0 billion and created 1.1 million homes across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We do all this to make home and community places of pride, power, and belonging.

National Housing Innovation Grant Competition

Home is foundational. It’s where we plant roots, raise and care for our families, and build community bonds. Yet in every corner of the country, millions of people of all ages and backgrounds need a home they can afford.

Wells Fargo is meeting this moment with a powerful grant opportunity. Together with Enterprise, Wells Fargo has launched the third iteration of the Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge. The 2026 cycle of the housing innovation competition will identify and propel proven, ready-to-scale solutions that transform current practices and increase housing choice and access.

Eligible applicants will compete for five individual grants of $2 million to advance their innovation and drive meaningful, systems-level change in the housing and adjacent industries. Winners will gain access to mentorship and coaching from industry leaders and experts and join a powerful network of Breakthrough Challenge innovators.

Focus Areas

This third cycle of the Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge aims to meet the nation’s affordable housing challenges across all types of communities: Native, rural, suburban, tribal, and urban.

Proposals must encompass one or more of three focus areas:

• Design and Construction
• Finance
• Service Delivery and Programs

Applicants will be asked to show how their proof of concept or pilot program has achieved clear outcomes and success, and provide a clear pathway to expanding the innovation’s reach and impact

Priority scoring will be given to applications from entities that are based in – or whose innovations are designed for – one or more of these 28 states, plus D.C.:

Affordability

Innovations must serve residents at these income levels:

• Rental: 80% AMI or below
• Homeownership: 120% AMI or below
• Workforce housing: 120% AMI or below

The Competitive Grants program by the Community Foundation for Brevard empowers local nonprofits to address pressing community needs through targeted funding in areas like education, health, and environmental stewardship. With a focus on supporting organizations that enrich community life, this initiative fosters collaboration and innovation. Grants are available to eligible nonprofits that have been operational for at least two years and meet specific criteria. This funding aims to enhance the quality of life in Brevard County and promote sustainable community development.

IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida offers grants to nonprofit organizations in Okaloosa and Walton Counties, aiming to fund high-impact projects that transform lives. Grants start at $100,000, with specific focus areas including education, environment, family, health & recreation, and arts & culture. Eligible organizations must be tax-exempt and serve local communities. The grant process encourages collaboration among nonprofits, fostering innovative solutions for community needs.

The St. Joe Community Foundation, established in 1999, aims to enhance the quality of life in Northwest Florida through grants to 501(c)(3) organizations. Focused on education, environmental stewardship, health, and cultural arts, the foundation prioritizes projects that promise long-term community benefits. Organizations based in Bay and Walton Counties are eligible to apply, fostering sustainable civic infrastructure to support the unique character and heritage of the region.

The Admirals Cove Foundation Grant supports programs that enhance education, health, and social services for individuals and families in northern Palm Beach County. Focused on local impact, it encourages nonprofits to apply, especially those benefiting Jupiter residents. The foundation emphasizes transparency and accountability in its philanthropic efforts, ensuring contributions lead to meaningful community improvements.

The Community Foundation of North Florida (CFNF) is excited to announce the "Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow Grant," aimed at nonprofit organizations in the Big Bend region. With ten grants of $5,000 available, this program prioritizes initiatives focused on Education and Social & Human Services. Eligible organizations must have a minimum of two years of operational history and provide direct services to residents in specific counties. This initiative seeks to address pressing community needs and foster long-term impact.

The Improving Health Grant Program by the Florida Blue Foundation aims to enhance health equity through initiatives like food security and mental well-being. With a focus on maternal health, the program seeks to provide three- and four-year grants to nonprofit organizations that can ensure equitable access to quality maternal health services. Approximately $3 million is available, with grants ranging from $270,000 to $400,000, supporting the goal of delivering quality care to mothers and babies throughout pregnancy.

The A.L. Lewis Black Opportunity & Impact Fund grants aim to support nonprofit organizations in Duval County, fostering community empowerment through health, education, and economic growth. Established in 2022, this initiative focuses on igniting transformational change in Black neighborhoods by enhancing access to educational resources, economic opportunities, and healthcare solutions. The fund prioritizes organizations with an annual budget over $150,000, aiming to uplift and strengthen the local community through collaborative efforts.

IMPACT the Palm Beaches is a philanthropic organization empowering women to fund transformative grants for nonprofits in Central and Northern Palm Beach County. Each year, members contribute to award grants totaling $100,000, fostering community growth. The organization focuses on vital areas such as Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Family, and Health & Wellness. Since 2015, over $1.9 million has been invested in impactful projects, enhancing local services and support for underserved populations.

The Fischer Family Foundation Grants aim to enhance the lives of underprivileged youth aged 8-25 in Southwest Florida through diverse resources, including education, mental health support, and wellness programs. The foundation prioritizes funding for initiatives that address substance abuse, mental health access, and experiential learning opportunities. Grants typically range from $5,000 to $15,000, focusing on organizations with a proven track record and a commitment to quality experiences for those in need.

The Impact100 Gulf Coast Grant empowers women to make a significant difference in their community by awarding large grants to qualifying organizations. Focus areas include arts, environment, health, education, and family initiatives that enhance lives in the Panhandle. Eligible applicants must be tax-exempt charities operating in specific Florida counties and adhere to grant guidelines. Funds must be fully expended within 24 months to ensure impactful community transformation.

The Motorola Solutions Foundation Grant supports organizations that enhance safety and community well-being, focusing on underrepresented populations. With over $100 million in donations, the foundation prioritizes technology and engineering education, first responder programming, and blended initiatives. Eligible applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) organizations or school districts in the U.S. The foundation seeks partnerships that demonstrate strong financial health and data-driven evaluation methods, aiming to create safer cities and thriving communities.

The Rare Pediatric Diseases Research Grant Program is a groundbreaking initiative by the Florida Department of Health aimed at fostering innovative research and treatment solutions for rare pediatric diseases. With an annual funding pool of $500,000, the program seeks to enhance research capacities, explore novel therapeutic approaches, and address the needs of underserved populations.
