Carol Troeller Second Chance Scholarship Fund

To support students with emergency financial needs with a preference for a female student in business fields of study

The Award for Diversity Course Design, initiated by the Society for Music Theory, aims to enhance diversity, inclusion, and social justice in undergraduate music theory courses. Nearly 50 different students earned money toward their college costs. Scholarships are available for a variety of applicants. Some are specific to schools, majors, need, or interests.

CFMJC scholarships may be used for tuition and related expenses like fees and required equipment at accredited colleges and universities. Room and board are not covered.

Terry & Wanda Wood Memorial Scholarship

Criteria evaluated:

• Work ethic and ambition, desire to pursue a trade, and financial need

Required materials: 

• Essay of up to 250 words describing the applicant’s career path plans, 
• 2 letters of recommendation from teachers and/or counselors, and 3) FAFSA SAI PDF upload

Scholarship amount:

• $7,500 | 1 scholarship

The Helen E. Nash, M.D. Educational Trust Fund Scholarship honors Dr. Helen Nash's legacy in St. Louis by providing need-based financial support up to $7,000 annually for qualifying high school seniors. Applicants must be residents of St. Louis City, rank in the top third of their class, and intend to enroll in a four-year college or university in Missouri. Eligible students can receive up to $12,000 per academic year, renewable for up to ten semesters. The rootEd Undergraduate Scholarship, established by rootEd Alliance in 2018, supports high school seniors from rural Missouri and Idaho in pursuing higher education. This renewable scholarship provides up to $12,000 annually for students attending accredited nonprofit colleges or universities. Eligible applicants must demonstrate financial need, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0, and be committed to completing a bachelor’s degree program.
