Helen Tomlinson Hobart Scholarship Endowment
Graduates of a public high school in Johnston County with plans to attend an accredited university or community college with a career objective to become a public-school teacher. “Public high school” does not include schools that are considered or classified as charter schools.
The scholarships we award vary each year based on the unique criteria of each scholarship. In 2025, we awarded over $3 million in scholarships to over 500 students, including $1.3 million to 110 students in western NC through our Disaster Relief and Resilience Scholarship.
Alpha Beta Chapter Scholarship Fund
Depending on the scholarship, it may pay for tuition, room and board, books, fees and/or other related educational expenses. This will be outlined in your award notification. The minimum scholarship award amount is $1,000.
NCCF scholarship awards are only issued to not-for-profit institutions and government entities such as public colleges or universities.

Ralph Edwin and Ruby Irene Holloman Davis Scholarship Endowment
Applicants are graduating seniors from high schools in Johnston County who are continuing their education at a college, university, community or junior college, technical school, nursing school, or other post-high school training leading to a degree or associate degree, with preference to those who have financial need.
The scholarships we award vary each year based on the unique criteria of each scholarship. In 2025, we awarded over $3 million in scholarships to over 500 students, including $1.3 million to 110 students in western NC through our Disaster Relief and Resilience Scholarship.
Mary Ferebee Howard Scholarship Fund for Undergraduate Study
Applicants will be judged on character, well-roundedness, and potential for future achievement.
Depending on the scholarship, it may pay for tuition, room and board, books, fees and/or other related educational expenses. This will be outlined in your award notification. The minimum scholarship award amount is $1,000.

About the NCGA
The NCGA is dedicated to helping NorCal golfers enjoy golf more. We work to deliver competitive and casual playing opportunities for golfers of all abilities, provide Rules of Golf education and Handicap Index services, celebrate golf in the region and bring members valuable benefits through our partners in the game. We have over 200k members belonging to over 1,300 clubs.
NCGA Reach Grant Program
The NCGA's vision is “to ensure the game of golf is vibrant, inclusive, and accessible.” To help achieve this vision in partnership with our public access golf facilities and programs, we launched a new grant program called NCGA Reach.
The objective of the grant program is to help enable Northern California public golf facilities and public programs to test new programming to be more inclusive, enhance the diversity of golfers in our region, and help grow the game of golf.
We are allocating funding, available through approved grant applications, to provide financial assistance to test and expand facility-led pilot programs. These programs may include, but are not limited to, new event formats, mentorship, parental engagement, training, insight research and more.
NCGA Reach will provide recipients with up to $25K each. We focus on funding projects that align with the NGCA Foundation's mission and priorities.

MAGA Phoenix created the MAGA Scholarship Program in 2015, and has continued to award deserving students college scholarships each year. MAGA Phoenix takes great pride in being able to assist young students in achieving their educational goals.
The Mexican American Golf Association of Phoenix, Arizona (MAGA Phoenix) is dedicated to raising funds for college scholarships through monthly golf tournaments.
MAGA Phoenix is pleased to announce that we will be offering 12 qualified applicants $1,000.00 (renewable) scholarships to assist them in continuing their education. Eight of the 12 scholarships will be going to students entering into a traditional college/university and up to four of the scholarships will be going to students entering a trade/vocational/apprenticeship program.

Established by the family of Mr. Dumitrov to provide tuition assistance for a graduating senior from any of the High Schools in Susquehanna County who will matriculate at a trade school or post-secondary degree program.
