The Mathias Graduate Student Research Grant Program offers funding up to $3,000 for graduate research at UC Natural Reserve System (NRS) reserves. The Furthur Foundation Grant supports grassroots organizations focused on community needs, environmental preservation, and social justice. With grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, the foundation aims to empower groups working directly toward impactful goals, such as food distribution, job assistance, and ecological conservation. There are no application deadlines, making it accessible for various organizations. However, it does not fund individuals or groups without 501(c)(3) status, or those with budgets exceeding $1 million.
