Older Americans Act Support and Health Services Grant

Through the Older Americans Act Support and Health Services Grant, the City of Boston’s Age Strong Commission seeks to fund programs that are providing a comprehensive and supportive social service system while promoting longevity and an optimal quality of life for older adults. The goal of this grant program is to leverage existing community trust and foster a sense of community within each neighborhood. Grants will be made to ensure high-quality social programs are accessible to older adults.

The Older Americans Act Support and Health Services Grant is based on Title III-B and Title III-D funding.

Title III-B

The programming may include services, such as: legal assistance, friendly visit, home repair, recreation, computer training, and translation/interpretation services.
