Mondovi Grange/Wilson Farm Scholarship

Applicants must be graduating seniors or graduates of schools in Lincoln County, Washington, or from that part of Spokane County in the Reardan-Edwall School District, or a direct descendant of someone previously employed by Dale D. Wilson, regardless of their current residence location.

Previous recipients are eligible to re-apply. 

The PDF Travel Award to the Annual CSZ Meeting is designed to support post-doctoral fellows in attending the Canadian Society of Zoologists' Annual Meeting. This need-based award offers up to $500 to assist with travel expenses, with a preference for applicants outside Canada. To qualify, candidates must be CSZ members for at least two years and present as first authors at the meeting. The award aims to foster participation and collaboration in zoological research.

The Greystar Scholars Fund, managed by Communities Foundation of Texas, offers scholarships up to $5,000 for high school seniors and college students who are dependents of Greystar team members. Eligible applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 and be pursuing a degree at accredited institutions in the U.S. Notably, dependents of high-ranking executives are excluded from eligibility. This initiative aims to support education and empower families within the Greystar community.

The Park Foundation Grants for Democracy aim to fortify democratic foundations and good governance. Grants support initiatives that promote inclusivity, sustainability, and participation for all demographics, especially underserved communities. Key priorities include combating gerrymandering, enhancing ballot access, and eliminating dark money in elections. The foundation seeks to empower a diverse range of emerging leaders to create a truly representative society, ensuring accountability and pushing for progressive reforms at all levels of government.

The Janosik Family Scholarship, awarded by the Delaware Community Foundation, offers a one-time financial assistance of $2,000 for graduating seniors from specific Eastern Shore High Schools. This program emphasizes citizenship qualities, work ethic, and community service as key selection criteria. In 2024-2025, the foundation distributed a record-breaking $850,000 in scholarships to support students pursuing undergraduate degrees, promoting educational opportunities and equity across Delaware.

The Eviction Help Illinois Grants, provided by the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation, aim to offer civil legal assistance to low-income residents facing eviction. These grants focus on legal services such as advice, representation, and access to mediation resources. By funding nonprofit organizations, the initiative seeks to enhance legal support for vulnerable populations, ensuring they receive the necessary help to maintain housing stability and navigate the complexities of eviction and housing issues effectively.

The J.D. O’Connor Scholarship, offered by the Delaware Community Foundation, provides a four-year award of $5,000 annually to graduating seniors from Sussex County high schools. Students must enroll in an accredited Delaware institution and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 to renew their award. This scholarship aims to support local students in their pursuit of higher education, ultimately enhancing opportunities and promoting equity within the community.

The Canadian Society of Zoologists offers Conference Travel Grants to support students and postdocs presenting at their Annual Meeting. This initiative aims to alleviate travel and lodging expenses for participants, fostering educational and research opportunities in zoology. Eligible candidates must be actively presenting their work, ensuring that the funds are utilized effectively to promote knowledge exchange within the scientific community. The amount of funding is contingent upon available resources and the distance traveled.

Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi 

The Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi manages 314 donor-established funds and has disbursed over $48 million to support more than 1,000 charitable organizations and activities recommended by its donors, as well as charitable programs established by the foundation. Established in 2002 with a generous grant from the Maddox Foundation, the Community Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 charitable organization. The Foundation serves Bolivar, Coahoma, DeSoto, Leflore, Marshall, Panola, Quitman, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tunica and Yalobusha counties. 

Optimist Club of Hernando Scholarship

The Club, chartered in 1987, established an endowment in 2013 which makes scholarships available to deserving high school seniors in the Hernando area.

The Jefferson Economic Development Fund, managed by The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation, supports nonprofit organizations that enhance economic development in Jefferson County. Grants are awarded to initiatives that creatively link their programs to community growth. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) organizations, ensuring a focus on impactful projects that improve the quality of life in the region. This funding aims to foster innovation and sustainability within local communities.

The Sustainable Disaster-Relief Fund, established by Vanguard Charitable in 2006, aims to support communities affected by natural disasters. By providing funding for rebuilding efforts and necessary infrastructure, this initiative helps ensure that affected areas are better prepared for future disasters. Grants are available to 501(c)(3) organizations in good standing, focusing on charitable purposes like operating expenses and specific projects. The fund plays a critical role in enhancing community resilience and promoting effective disaster recovery.

Scott Kammerer Scholarship

One-time award of $2,000.

Atlantis Scholarship for Excellence

Award:

• 4-year award of $5,000 per year. Recipients will be reviewed annually and must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

The CALT Experiences Grants, provided by the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, support public projects in Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia that celebrate traditional arts and cultural knowledge. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations and individual artists from Appalachian Regional Commission-designated areas. Funded activities may encompass workshops, public art, performances, and exhibitions. This initiative fosters community engagement and enhances appreciation of living traditions while promoting artistic skills and cultural heritage.

The Service League Fund Grant, offered by the Bartlesville Community Foundation, supports 501(c)3 organizations providing services to youth in Washington County. With over 50 years of community service, the fund aims to improve youth programs through operating support, programming enhancements, new initiatives, and staff training. Organizations can apply for one grant per fiscal year, fostering a lasting impact on local youth by addressing their needs and promoting their development.

Julie H. Shenk Memorial Scholarship

Award:

• One time award of $1,000.

The Hawaii Dental Service Foundation's Smile Fund provides grants up to $5,000 to support innovative outreach programs aimed at improving oral health in Hawaii. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations or governmental programs. Projects must be completed within 12 months, and grantees can apply once per year. The fund focuses on oral health initiatives like Dentist by One and Kupuna Smiles, while excluding individuals, endowments, and political organizations from funding.

Crider/Bommersbach Scholarship Fund

This fund is being established to recognize all educational personnel who are committed to the success of all students, especially those who have struggled in traditional educational settings. This also celebrates those students who have continued to work through adversity to complete their high school education with clear plans for post-secondary goals. It also recognizes the vision and commitment of the Battle Creek Area Educator's Task Force who identified the need and established the Battle Creek Area Learning Center, operating as Calhoun Community High School, and the dedicated work of the educational professionals who have worked to make this vision a reality. Although it is labeled the Crider/Bommersbach Scholarship in honor of Charles Crider and Tom Bommersbach, the first Director and Counselor, it is truly a recognition of all of the staff and students and those in the community who celebrate the small and large successes of every student.

The Connecticut Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program provides vital technical and financial support to local communities facing urgent threats from natural disasters such as floods and fires. This program, managed by the USDA's Natural Resource Conservation Service, enables swift action without the need for a formal disaster declaration. Eligible sponsors can initiate projects focused on restoring watershed health, ensuring safety, and enhancing community resilience against future environmental hazards.

Shapoor Alexander Ghane was a Navy SEAL and to honor his memory this scholarship fund was established to benefit the children of Navy SEAL members who died in action.

Athens Area Community Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Athens Area Community Foundation (AACF) was created by and for the residents of the community and, therefore, belongs to everyone in this community! Athens Area Community Foundation responds to our changing needs, including developing postsecondary education scholarships. The AACF Scholarship is for graduating seniors and graduates of Athens High School, or current Athens area residents, who wish to seek postsecondary education and have a grade point average of 2.5 or above.

At the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, we work with donors, grantees, and advisors to address key community issues.

Muskegon County Medical Society Scholarship

This scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of the members of the Muskegon County Medical Society, who established the Muskegon County Medical Society Scholarship of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County. This scholarship provides assistance to individuals pursuing projects or programs relating to health, science education and/or service.

The Global Support Fund offers up to $6,000 for First-Year/Direct admits at Northeastern University, enabling them to participate in various approved global experiences. Eligible students must complete the GSF Request Form after acceptance into a program, ensuring they meet deadlines. The funding can cover program fees, airfare, housing, meals, and required course materials, but cannot be used for tuition or personal travel. This initiative encourages exploration and cultural immersion for students.

The ES Veterans Association Grant supports U.S. military service members and veterans in New England. This grant aims to enhance services through charitable giving, focusing on mental, physical, and educational support. Organizations with an EIN can apply for grants of any amount, which must align with the association's mission. The Board of Directors has the final authority on grant requests, ensuring the needs of veterans are met and their sacrifices honored.

Christopher Wellington Moore Memorial Scholarship

The Christopher Wellington Moore Memorial Scholarship is a $20,000 award to one graduating senior at Castlemont High School, McClymonds High School, Oakland High School or Skyline High School in Oakland, CA who has been accepted to a 4-year university pursuing a degree in music or education. The award will be disbursed in four annual installments of $5,000 to the recipient's chosen university.
