We want to help ensure that the United States remains a global thought leader in all forms of science, math, and technology by promoting projects which encourage, enhance and advance STEM education in this country and to promote projects which provide career opportunities for individuals with STEM education backgrounds.

The Foundation, formed in 2022, seeks to give students and educators more resources for developing and participating in STEM-based, hands-on learning. As a Foundation, we want to support STEM education programs that are making a difference for students regardless of their background or resources. We want every student in America to have enough exposure to STEM from an early age and to transform our attitudes around STEM subjects. We are working towards changing the narrative that promotes STEM subjects as challenging and difficult to the idea that a broad knowledge of STEM education is imperative for socioeconomic and economic freedom as an adult, for all.

It all begins with an idea. We support educational opportunities ranging in age from children through post-doctoral candidates and beyond to promote STEM learning and initiatives that seek to increase awareness and success in STEM careers in the United States.

We will support Innovative Environmental Projects (IEPs) that utilize interdisciplinary research to identify and address critical environmental problems with cutting-edge, innovative solutions that are scalable and replicable.

Scientific Research

Contribute to advancements in biomedical research and innovation to accelerate the progress in medical research and drug treatment development - specifically for high-mortality, under-funded areas of need such as pancreatic and colon cancers.

Urban & Community Entrepreneurship

Advancing entrepreneurship in moderate-income and underserved communities to help business leaders of today and tomorrow prosper. The focus of this program is to help foster economic empowerment by investing in organizations focusing on one individual, one job, and one business at a time.

Health Foundation of South Florida supports technology access and digital health in Florida by funding projects that increase healthcare access through digital platforms, telehealth, and technology-driven outreach. Nonprofits and agencies serving Broward, Miami-Dade, or Monroe Counties may be eligible for initiatives using technology to improve health outcomes and address social determinants of health.

With a mission to support vibrant communities, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. provides Florida organizations with funding for community events, cultural celebrations, and festivals. Nonprofits provide workers necessary upskilling opportunities, AI literacy training, career navigation support, and wraparound services in conjunction with career pathways programming. All necessary for the modern workforce. Meeting the moment, Truist Foundation and MIT Solve want to hear the ways in which nonprofits headquartered in the Truist operating footprint are providing innovative career pathway programming in the age of AI. Although solutions don’t need to focus on generative AI specifically, teams should demonstrate how their career pathways programming align with the following dimensions:

• Training and Upskilling Programs – Providing holistic, accessible programming that equips workers with essential skills, industry-validated credentials, and technical literacy for the modern workplace.
• AI Readiness and Literacy – Offering high-quality training that helps workers understand generative AI and agentic technologies as augmented intelligence tools, helping to build practical skills like effective prompting, domain expertise application, and ethical use.
• Additional Wraparound Services and Basic Needs Support – Supporting unemployed and underemployed workers on their journey to economic mobility through comprehensive, integrated resources including childcare, transportation support, mentorship, mental health services, benefits navigation, and more.
• Career Navigation in the AI Economy – Enabling workers to navigate career choices with clarity and confidence by providing accessible information about how AI is reshaping job roles and industries, facilitating informed decisions about high-quality career trajectories that align with individual circumstances, and connecting workers to industry-validated credentials or trainings.

With a mission to enhance education, libraries, and healthcare, The Gladys Brooks Foundation provides Florida organizations with funding for innovative technology, capital equipment, and facility improvements. Nonprofits in Florida working to improve technology access or digital literacy in libraries, schools, or healthcare settings may be eligible for support through this grant opportunity.

The Rural Business Development Grants in Florida aim to support small rural businesses with training and technical assistance. The Florida Department of State, Division of Library and Information Services is the state library administrative agency officially designated to receive and administer federal grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) is the major federal grant program for libraries. The LSTA program, administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services:

• Is a state-based program.
• Has purposes which focus on information access through technology and information empowerment through special services.
• Emphasizes public libraries but encourages interlibrary cooperation and partnerships among all types of libraries.
• Increases emphasis on accountability and evaluation.

Florida’s grant program is based on the purposes of LSTA and the needs of Florida residents and libraries. Grant projects must clearly fit in with both the LSTA purposes and priorities as listed in Section IX and Florida’s long-range plan. CFF Grassroots Grants

Grants will focus on building infrastructure and capability for grassroots nonprofits. Infrastructure and capability may include efforts to improve governance, financial management, fundraising and development, program evaluation, technology, and continuous learning.

This year, we are looking for organizations working in human services, education, veterans, food security, Alzheimer’s, youth development, and health and well-being.
