The SpartanNash Foundation Grant supports nonprofit organizations focused on Hunger, Heroes, and Hope. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations located within a 30-mile radius of SpartanNash facilities. The Foundation ensures that every dollar raised directly benefits partner organizations, with a commitment to community impact. Emphasis is placed on initiatives that enhance work-integrated learning, address skills gaps, and promote access to critical educational opportunities. Additionally, the Foundation invests in arts and culture, supporting emerging artists and programs that foster community engagement. Health grants focus on youth mental well-being, ensuring access to necessary care through innovative navigation and technology-based solutions.

As they engage in hands-on, collaborative problem solving focused on real-world challenges, students use and stretch their imaginations in brand-new ways that connect their learning to life. All the while, students step into roles spanning the career landscape—a crucial experience during this transitional time in their lives, long before they enter their degreed or skilled trade professions.

The Agriculture Education Grant, funded by Compeer Financial, aims to enhance high school agriculture programs by providing up to $4,000 for classroom equipment and educational initiatives. This grant promotes hands-on learning and modern technologies, ensuring students are well-equipped to explore the evolving agricultural landscape. Eligible applicants include high school agriculture departments within a specified 144-county territory, with a focus on schools that have not received funding in the past two years.

The Walter C. Rasmussen-Northeast Bank Foundation honors the legacy of its founder by supporting initiatives in education, housing, culture, environment, and health. With a focus on community-building, the foundation aims to empower the economically disadvantaged, particularly children and families, through self-sufficiency programs. It prioritizes effective strategies that address local needs in Hennepin, Ramsey, and Anoka counties, ensuring a lasting impact on the community's well-being and development.

The Community-Built Playspace Grants, funded by KaBOOM!, aim to empower communities to create kid-designed playspaces that foster health and well-being. These grants address inequities in access to safe play areas, particularly in communities of color, ensuring that all children can benefit from spaces that promote social, emotional, and physical development. By supporting the construction of these playspaces, KaBOOM! works to enhance resilience and learning opportunities for children, transforming neighborhoods into vibrant, engaging environments.

The Donaldson Foundation offers organizational grants focused on enhancing educational opportunities and community involvement. Young learners are naturally wired for discovery. PLTW Launch is designed with activities that let them see what they can be and build skills to discover what they can do. Students are immersed in hands-on activities, projects, and problems that build upon each other and relate to the real world. They experience integrated learning that blends computer science, engineering, biomedical science, and more. Throughout the modules, even the youngest learners apply their math and English Language Arts (ELA) skills, learn science to standards, and adopt skills that are foundational across disciplines.

3M has partnered with PLTW to ensure students and teachers have the tools, resources and knowledge they need to succeed in STEM.

The Farmers Market Grant Program by Compeer Financial aims to support organizations enhancing services at farmers markets. Grants of up to $1,000 are available for marketing efforts, technology upgrades, and vendor education. Eligible applicants must be bona fide farmers markets with at least three vendors of locally-produced products and must operate in the designated 144-county area. Priority is given to markets that have not previously received funding.

The scholarships we award vary each year based on the unique criteria of each scholarship. In 2025, we awarded over $3 million in scholarships to over 500 students, including $1.3 million to 110 students in western NC through our Disaster Relief and Resilience Scholarship.

Mary Ferebee Howard Scholarship Fund for Undergraduate Study

Applicants will be judged on character, well-roundedness, and potential for future achievement. 

Depending on the scholarship, it may pay for tuition, room and board, books, fees and/or other related educational expenses. This will be outlined in your award notification. The minimum scholarship award amount is $1,000.

NCCF scholarship awards are only issued to not-for-profit institutions and government entities such as public colleges or universities.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to raise funds for college scholarships by using the proceeds from our monthly golf tournaments and other fundraising efforts. MAGA PHX is a 501 (c) (3).

MAGA College Scholarship Program

MAGA Phoenix created the MAGA Scholarship Program in 2015, and has continued to award deserving students college scholarships each year. MAGA Phoenix takes great pride in being able to assist young students in achieving their educational goals.

The Mexican American Golf Association of Phoenix, Arizona (MAGA Phoenix) is dedicated to raising funds for college scholarships through monthly golf tournaments.

MAGA Phoenix is pleased to announce that we will be offering 12 qualified applicants $1,000.00 (renewable) scholarships to assist them in continuing their education. Eight of the 12 scholarships will be going to students entering into a traditional college/university and up to four of the scholarships will be going to students entering a trade/vocational/apprenticeship program.

Dolores Hope Financial Assistance Initiative

The LPGA Foundation has a tradition of taking care of its members and others in the golf industry. The Financial Assistance Fund was renamed the Dolores Hope LPGA Financial Assistance Initiative in 2007 to acknowledge Hope’s generous support of the fund and her long-time friendship with the LPGA.

This scholarship is available to eligible employees of Renewal by Andersen of Eastern NY and their immediate family members who plan to pursue a two or four year college degree or a trade/technical certification program.

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association® is a passionate, inclusive group of women made up of over 18,500 members of all golf abilities throughout 130+ global chapters. This vibrant community connects women to learn, play and enjoy golf. We provide organized playing and learning opportunities for adults of all ages and abilities through a variety of local and national events. 

Women on Par Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The “Women on Par” Scholarship Program, provided by the LPGA Foundation, was established in 2007 by the EWGA Foundation (now the LPGA Amateur Golf Association™) to provide financial assistance to “non-traditional” female students. These scholarships are intended for women, aged 30 and older, who are attending a college or university for the first time or returning to school after an absence to complete their technical/vocational, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree. The scholarships are designed to help these women get “on par,” or get an equal footing, with their peers, friends, and other women who have had a chance to complete their college education.

Impact of the Scholarship

Since its inception, the Women on Par Scholarship has empowered more than 40 women to pursue their dream of earning a degree. This program provides more than financial support - it instills confidence, fuels ambition, and inspires recipients to achieve their goals and give back to their communities.

Marge Burns Educational Grants

The Marge Burns Education Grant is available for LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals and is awarded to assist with the expenses of attending LPGA Certification Programs. Established with a bequest from Marge Burns, the grant recognizes the importance of LPGA Certification and Continuing Education for LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals.

• Grant Applicants must be an Approved Applicant or an LPGA Apprentice or Class B LPGA Professionals member in good standing.

The John and Olive Cornellisson Scholarship Fund, managed by the Greater Salina Community Foundation, supports students graduating from USD 239 or 240 high schools pursuing higher education in agriculture or vocational training. Open to high school seniors, current college students, and non-traditional students, the fund emphasizes financial need over GPA. Previous recipients can apply for renewal, ensuring continued support for those striving to advance their education.

The Carteret County Retired School Personnel Scholarship Endowment offers scholarships to graduating seniors from Carteret County public high schools with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Eligible students must apply for admission to an accredited college or university and plan to pursue a degree in education, demonstrating their commitment to serving as positive role models. Applications open on Dec. 16, 2025, and close on March 3, 2026.

Renee Powell Scholarship

The Renee Powell Scholarship will be awarded through The LPGA Foundation and the LPGA Renee Powell Fund. Established in 2022, the Renee Powell Scholarship will provide financial aid to female, Black or African American, high school seniors pursuing a full-time course of study and playing collegiate golf at an accredited college or university in the United States. Through this effort, The LPGA Foundation will further its commitment to Change the Face of Golf and create opportunities for Black or African American girls to pursue their dreams. 

The Ottawa County Community Foundation manages the Steve and Patricia Baccus Scholarship Fund, aimed at supporting students graduating from high schools in Minneapolis or Bennington, KS. This scholarship is designed for those pursuing further education at accredited institutions and is funded by local donors. While the foundation promotes community philanthropy, it does not offer renewal options for this scholarship, encouraging students to seek ongoing educational opportunities.

The Jewell County Community Foundation's Fine Arts Future Development program supports high school seniors in the Solomon Valley area, including Mitchell, Cloud, and Jewell Counties, who are pursuing majors in Instrumental Music or Art. This initiative, backed by the Greater Salina Community Foundation, aims to foster creativity and artistic talent among youth, helping them to achieve their educational aspirations through scholarships and community support.
