For students who are members of or active in the Republican Party of Arkansas.

Lillian McGillicuddy Republican Party of Arkansas Scholarship

For students involved in the Young Republicans organization.

The Veterans Assistance & Service Dog Funding Program, established by the Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation, aims to support 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving veterans. The Dixie Fire - Small Grant Program provides funding of up to $10,000 to support nonprofits and agencies assisting evacuees and animals impacted by wildfires in the area. Eligible organizations include federally recognized tribes, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and local government units. The program emphasizes strategic deployment of funds and collaboration with existing aid sources, ensuring that grants do not replace public funding. Applications require a detailed budget and proof of liability insurance.

The Dixie Fire Large Grant Program, managed by the North Valley Community Foundation, provides critical funding for nonprofits and agencies aiding those affected by wildfires. Organizations seeking over $10,000 must submit a detailed project budget and proof of liability insurance, while those requesting $50,000 or more must consult with a program officer beforehand. This program strategically allocates funds where other resources are unavailable, ensuring support reaches the most impacted communities.

Annual, renewable scholarship established by the estate of Sammy K. Curtis, in memory of his aunt, Miss Mary F. Curtis, a beloved 2nd grade teacher at Winslow Elementary School.

BISSELL Pet Foundation's Partners for Pets program supports over 6,025 animal welfare organizations across the U.S. by providing resources aimed at reducing homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter initiatives, and emergency support. Eligible organizations must be 501(C)(3) nonprofits or local government entities engaged in animal welfare, fostering community connections and financial assistance during crises. Karen Schlosser Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of the fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a Marshall County resident attending Purdue University. 

The Karen Schlosser Memorial Scholarship is not renewable to previous recipients.

McKinnis Vocational Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will be awarded to one or more Marshall County graduating high school student(s) who will be attending a vocational trade or technical career school.

The Land & Water Conservation Fund Recreation Grants, administered by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, support outdoor recreation projects through matching grants to state, tribal, and local entities. Since 1964, over 800 projects have been funded, enhancing public parks, trails, and recreational facilities. Eligible applicants include cities, counties, and state agencies, while a 50% non-federal match is required. The program fosters community engagement in outdoor activities and conservation efforts.

The Watershed Fund offers Environmental Education Grants to organizations focused on preserving water quality and enhancing community appreciation for environmental resources. Grants, typically not exceeding $10,000, support projects that educate the public on the significance of watershed land and its impact on local ecosystems. Eligible applicants include non-profits, municipalities, and educational institutions within the South Central Connecticut Regional Water District. The program emphasizes measurable outcomes and collaboration with existing environmental education initiatives.

The Fred and Alice Wallace Charitable Grant supports local non-profit organizations addressing healthcare and educational needs in the Miami Valley, Ohio. There are no strict submission deadlines for proposals, which are reviewed quarterly. Eligible organizations must be tax-exempt under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). Grants should not exceed 10% of the project's budget, allowing for impactful assistance to those served by these charities.

The Ladies’ Branch of the New Bedford Port Society Scholarship, managed by the SouthCoast Community Foundation, supports students with familial ties to the sea or descendants of seamen. This scholarship aims to promote education in maritime-related fields. Eligible applicants must reside in specific SouthCoast communities or plan to pursue maritime sciences. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed over $50 million to enhance the region's educational, humanitarian, and cultural landscape.

Tony and Mary Wood Scholarship

The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship(s) to attend Ancilla College for a resident of Marshall County or an adjacent county who is recommended by Heart and Hands, Inc.  

Should Heart and Hands, Inc. cease to exist, then the Marshall County Community Foundation may partner with another not-for-profit organization dedicated to the educational development of immigrants to Marshall County or may administer the scholarship themselves.

The 2025-2026 Kickstart Kids Grant Program, provided by the Texas Education Agency, aims to support martial arts initiatives that foster character and life skills in middle and high school students. This program includes specific guidelines for funding, such as limiting direct administrative costs to 15% of the award and requiring detailed expenditure reporting. Eligible applicants are encouraged to adhere to the guidelines to ensure effective use of funds.

Marshall County Community Foundation administers a number of scholarships, from traditional awards for graduating seniors to those geared towards current students, professionals, and other special circumstances.

Bowen Family Medical Scholarship Fund 

The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a Marshall County resident accepted into an accredited school of medicine to prepare for a career in rural family medicine. The intent of this scholarship is to prepare physicians for family practice in a rural Indiana community. 

For purposes of this scholarship rural Indiana is defined as Indiana Communities excluding the cities of Indianapolis, Evansville, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and the northwest Indiana counties of Lake and Porter. 

The Bowen Family Medical Scholarship Fund is renewable annually to previous recipients based upon the successful medical school advancement of the recipient and at the discretion of the Scholarship Advisory Committee. 

Should the scholarship be granted to a newly recruited family practice physician in the form of medical school debt reduction, the funding is also renewable at the discretion of the Scholarship Advisory Committee.

Cumberland Community Foundation ("CCF") manages more than 60 scholarship endowment funds created by local individuals, families, civic organizations, and corporations who want to provide a path to higher education for future generations. 

Each year, Cumberland Community Foundation announces more than $1,000,000 in college scholarships to students from southeastern North Carolina.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity: The George L. Butler Memorial Scholarship

Graduating senior from any high school in Cumberland County or Fort Bragg area.

The Bennett Family Foundation, established in 2004, focuses on grantmaking in Greater Boston to support organizations aiding teens and young adults in becoming independent. Preference is given to smaller, local organizations with proven expertise and sustainable programs.
