The Iris Krieg Fund for Fairness, Access, Inclusion, and Resiliency Initiative, established by the Bright Promises Foundation, aims to empower youth leadership and promote civic engagement. About The Junior Board of Rock Island

Junior Board began in 1935. For more than 90 years, members of the organization have donated their time, efforts and personal funds to make the nonprofit organization succeed. We are women joined in friendship, working together to support children in our community, JBRI allocates funds to over 40 non-profit organizations in our community, helping to ensure children have what they need to live a healthy and successful life.

The Junior Board of Rock Island has set forth guidelines for community donations in an attempt to concentrate on areas of need of Children within our community (the greater Quad City Area). Donation requests should fall within the following areas of interest:

• Children at Risk
• Children and Literacy
• Poverty and Hunger - Children
• Environment - Children
• Education/School Events
• Anti-Violence/Community Safety - Children

Brooks Brothers, founded in 1818, is committed to social responsibility through its donation program. The company partners with local and national non-profits focused on health issues and education. They seek to enhance community well-being while maintaining a commitment to inclusivity. Notably, they do not support organizations that discriminate based on protected categories. Their donations are aimed at fostering positive change in society, reflecting their belief in the importance of community engagement.

The LASC Foundation offers grants to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Metropolitan St. Louis Area focusing on poverty relief through targeted partnerships. Eligible projects include food security, youth development, and education initiatives. First-time applicants should contact the foundation’s program officer before applying, while unsolicited proposals are accepted year-round. The foundation aims to foster sustainability and self-determination within communities, supporting both faith-based and non-faith-based organizations.

The Eversource Energy Foundation Grants support community initiatives by providing funding to organizations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $10,000 and require annual reapplication. Organizations must be based within the service territory and hold a 501(c)(3) designation. The Foundation prioritizes projects focused on community wellness, education, clean energy, and economic development while avoiding support for political, fraternal, or discriminatory activities.

The Reboot Representation Tech Coalition aims to significantly increase the number of Black, Latina, and Native American women earning computing bachelor’s degrees. They invite qualified organizations to submit grant inquiries focused on recruiting and retaining these women in tech. Programs that leverage existing resources and operate across multiple regions will be prioritized, and the Coalition seeks initiatives backed by substantial research and community trust.

The T.J. and LaVerne Plunkett Foundation Fund Grant supports nonprofit organizations that embody conservative Christian values and serve communities in East Texas, particularly Rusk County. Grants of up to $10,000 are available for programs in arts, education, health, and more, ensuring services are accessible to all community members without discrimination. Applicants must have 501(c)(3) status and provide a detailed budget for their proposed projects.

The Mooneyhan Family Foundation, established in 2001 in honor of Dr. Jerry Mooneyhan, aims to enhance community life through targeted grantmaking. It focuses on education, cultural enrichment, and spiritual development, supporting nonprofit organizations that foster community engagement and growth. Grants are awarded to tax-exempt entities, emphasizing projects that build on community strengths. The Grotto Foundation Grant focuses on enhancing the well-being of individuals and families through community-led initiatives in Minnesota. Organizations can apply if they address at least three of four key areas: Youth Development, Postsecondary Success, Community Safety & Neighborhood Development, and Mentoring. The Foundation invites selected organizations to apply, with grant decisions made three times a year, fostering sustainable solutions for local challenges.

The Westland Insurance Corporate Giving Program supports local communities across Canada through its Amplifying Communities initiative, which dedicates $1 million to projects focused on environmentalism, mental health, diversity, and food insecurity. Since 1980, Westland has been committed to community impact, welcoming submissions from registered charities that address community needs and demonstrate planned outcomes. The FY 2026 Continuation of Solicitation for the Office of Science Financial Assistance Program invites applications for research in various domains, including Advanced Scientific Computing and Biological Research. This ongoing opportunity from the Department of Energy will remain available until September 30, 2026. Eligible projects must align with SC's mission, supporting innovative research that advances scientific knowledge and energy solutions.

R. Kubly Family Foundation

The goal of the R. Kubly Family Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in Monroe, Wisconsin by empowering educated and leadership-focused individuals who live and work in the Monroe area.

Grants

The R. Kubly Family Foundation will consider Grants in the following areas:

• Projects that increase the number of highly educated people to live in Monroe.
• Projects that have a direct correlation of improving the quality of life in Monroe and directly attract those with advanced degrees to move to Monroe and work in Monroe.
• Projects that contact local students who have moved away from Monroe for education or careers, to “bring them back” to Monroe.

Grantmaking Focus Areas

• Community Leadership: Create, educate and support community leaders and doers that are passionate and make things    happen in and for the community and act to create a better, stronger community in the future.
• Talent Recruitment: Bring leaders and doers to and back to the community to become part of the future for Monroe and Green County.

The Extension Risk Management Education (ERME) Competitive Grants program aims to enhance the economic viability of agricultural producers through targeted risk management education. The Allan and Margot Blank Foundation Grant supports musical and artistic organizations, focusing on chamber groups, choral groups, and soloists performing contemporary music, particularly in the Richmond, Virginia area. The foundation provides funding for music rental, recording support, and administrative expenses, with average grants ranging from $1,000 to $20,000. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) exempt and located in Virginia. Applications are accepted year-round for funding consideration.

The WV Central Federal Credit Union's Day of Giving Grant supports 501(c)3 organizations in Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Wirt, Wood in West Virginia, and Washington in Ohio. The grant focuses on initiatives like financial education, youth programs, community development, and food insecurity. Organizations eligible for funding must address these critical areas, ensuring that their projects benefit local communities and enhance the quality of life for residents. Applications are welcomed from qualifying entities looking to make a positive impact.

The Nevada State Bank Grant supports community development initiatives aimed at benefiting low and moderate-income individuals and areas. With over a million dollars donated annually, the Bank encourages financial literacy, economic development, and various community services. It invites applications from non-profit organizations recognized under section 501(c)3 of the IRS tax code, focusing on projects that enhance education, health, and overall community livability.

The Women’s Service League of North Central Washington (WSL) Grant supports 501c(3) non-profit organizations that empower women and children in the community. Founded in 2008, WSL promotes volunteerism and community development throughout the region. Organizations are encouraged to apply for funding if they align with WSL's mission to address the needs of women and children in North Central Washington. This grant offers a valuable opportunity for impactful initiatives.

The Hampton Roads Community Foundation offers Vibrant Places grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofits in South Hampton Roads, Virginia. This initiative supports transformative projects in health, environmental stewardship, education, culture, and economic stability. The foundation encourages applications that incorporate green building practices to enhance sustainability and reduce operational costs for local nonprofits. Grants may not exceed 5% of a $1 million campaign goal, and organizations receiving funding must meet specific eligibility criteria.

Theresa Alessandra Russo Foundation Inc

The Theresa Foundation honors the memory of Theresa Alessandra Russo by touching the lives of children with special needs and their families. The Foundation fosters each child’s unique abilities by supporting programs focusing on art, music, dance, drama, and recreation.

The Theresa Foundation has a vision of the world where artistic expression and physical recreation are just as important to adults as they are to children. We believe in a world where every child, regardless of ability or challenging conditions, is free to communicate through and participate in every art or recreational activity. A society without art is a society without soul. Art enables us to express our inner thoughts, fears, joys, and sadness.  

The Theresa Foundation Grant Program

The Theresa Foundation Grant Program is committed to providing financial support for programs in art, music, dance, drama, or recreation that are designed specifically for children with special needs in order to ensure that no one is excluded from these activities. 

We believe that every individual should have the opportunity to participate in art, music, dance, drama or recreation if they so choose. Our grant program works to provide direct funding for the success of these activities, while also promoting an environment of acceptance and inclusiveness where all can take part without judgment or fear. 

As of 2026, the Theresa Foundation has provided over $3,300,000 in grant funding for over 200 programs in 29 states throughout the country and 4 international grants. With your help we can continue to make a difference in the lives of those with special needs by providing them access to enriching experiences that would otherwise be out of reach. 

The Adtalem Global Education Foundation, established in 2010, is dedicated to enhancing education and community development. Based in Chicago, it focuses on expanding educational access, particularly for underrepresented minorities in the healthcare sector. The foundation prioritizes initiatives that promote economic growth through skills-based workforce development, address healthcare disparities, and increase access to quality education for underserved populations. Its commitment to civic engagement and equality reflects its mission to empower communities.

The US Department of State invites eligible applicants to support the America First Global Health Strategy, aimed at enhancing health systems and saving lives. This Annual Program Statement outlines a framework for identifying projects that address health challenges and priorities. Collaborating with Embassies, the Department will post specific funding opportunities through Addenda to this APS, ensuring investments align with U.S. safety and prosperity goals.

The Michigan Specialty Crop Block Grant Program supports projects to enhance the competitiveness of Michigan's specialty crops, including fruits, vegetables, and horticulture. This initiative provides funding for marketing, research, and education to improve food safety and security while promoting sustainability. Grants up to $125,000 are available, and applicants must demonstrate a broad impact on the community and industry. The program fosters collaboration among various stakeholders to ensure the growth of specialty crops in Michigan.
