The HTF program also coordinates its efforts with other federal, state, and local housing assistance programs to achieve maximum benefit for participants.

The Critical Home Repair Program provide financial assistance to help low to very low-income homeowners with essential interior and exterior home repairs to correct life, health and safety issues so that they can live safely in their homes. These programs help to repair or replace major housing systems, including roofs, water heaters and HVAC equipment. It also covers home modifications, such as ramps, to provide accessibility for persons who are disabled. A home inspection is conducted to help identify any additional repairs that may be needed to provide the homeowner with safe and decent living conditions. The Sponsor then coordinates completion of the work with qualified contractors. The homeowner benefits by staying safely in a home that they can continue to enjoy for years to come. Local communities also benefit by maintaining the supply of affordable homes in their area.

The River Oaks Garden Club, founded in 1927, is dedicated to enhancing the Houston community through conservation, horticulture, and civic beautification. The ROGC Civic Contribution Grant supports local projects, including the maintenance of public gardens and the establishment of the Bayou Bend Gardens Endowment. Jakes Foundation (TDJF), in partnership with Wells Fargo, is proud to launch the Social Impact Grant Challenge, a transformative funding opportunity designed to identify, support, and amplify nonprofit organizations creating meaningful change in communities across the United States.

Designed around the T.D. Jakes Foundation's pillars of service (Educational Access & Workforce Readiness, financial inclusion, and community transformation and well-being), the Challenge seeks innovative nonprofit organizations that are addressing critical social issues through impactful, scalable, and sustainable solutions.

Finalists selected through this process will have the opportunity to showcase their organization through a live presentation at the inaugural Thriving Seven (T7) Summit, taking place November 12 –14 in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to competing for grant funding, finalists will gain national visibility for their work and connect with nonprofit leaders, funders, and changemakers from across the country.Grant Funding: A total of $1,500,000 in grant funding is anticipated to be awarded: 

• One (1) - $500,000 grant
• One (1) - $250,000 grant

Jaws Youth Playbook

Jaws Youth Playbook (JYP) - formerly Jaws Youth Fund - is the foundation of Former Eagles QB and NFL Analyst, Ron Jaworski and his wife, Liz Jaworski. Our 501(c)(3) non-profit has been working hard to improve the overall health and wellness of at-risk youth in the Greater Philadelphia Region for 40+ years! We invest in our youth and their future through the building of playgrounds and ballfields, providing much needed sports equipment, supporting Summer Meals programs and healthy nutrition in underserved communities AND MORE!

The Carrs Foundation in Seattle offers support for nonprofit organizations that align with its mission of strengthening local communities. This biannual grant prioritizes health services, education, hunger relief, and inclusion for all abilities. Eligible organizations must have a valid 501(c)(3) status and serve the community in which they operate. The foundation is committed to inclusivity and does not fund for-profit entities, religious organizations for religious purposes, or advocacy groups.

The Albertsons' Companies Foundation - Northern California Grant Program supports nonprofit organizations enhancing community well-being in key areas such as health, hunger, youth education, veterans, and diversity. To apply, organizations must have a local employee sponsor and serve the community where Albertsons operates. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $2,500 for first-time applicants, with a review process taking around six weeks. The Foundation prioritizes inclusivity and does not fund individuals or for-profit organizations.

The Skoll Awards for Social Innovation, presented by the Skoll Foundation, recognize social innovators addressing root societal problems. Each awardee receives $2 million in unrestricted funding and joins a global community of leaders dedicated to significant social change. The foundation focuses on key areas such as health systems, effective governance, inclusive economies, racial justice, and climate action. Nominations are made through a multi-year sourcing process, ensuring that candidates align closely with the foundation's mission.

The Ann E. Talcott Fund Grant supports charitable organizations in New Jersey, focusing on religious, scientific, educational, and humanitarian efforts. Established as a perpetual trust by Ann Earle Talcott, the fund prioritizes assistance to the indigent and aims to enhance public safety and welfare. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) exempt entities, ensuring financial support for those dedicated to meaningful community service and improving the lives of vulnerable populations.

The ABNY Foundation Grants aim to enhance economic opportunity and livability for New Yorkers in 2025, focusing on workforce development, safe communities, and small business support. The grants will provide essential operational and programmatic funding to small and mid-size non-profits serving the five boroughs, with a maximum award period of three consecutive years. Applications are reviewed bi-annually, with deadlines on March 31 and September 30.

The Antarctic Research program, supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), funds innovative research requiring U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP) logistical support. This initiative aims to enhance understanding of the Antarctic region's interactions with global systems, improve decision-making regarding environmental changes, and advance knowledge of Earth systems. The TCA Texas Arts Create 2 Grant, offered by the Texas Commission on the Arts, aims to support Established Minority Arts Organizations with budgets exceeding $50,000. This grant provides multi-year operational support, allowing organizations to apply for funding covering one year, with potential extension based on available funds. Eligible organizations must be tax-exempt nonprofits and comply with various federal regulations. The program seeks to enhance the creative economy in Texas, fostering a diverse and innovative arts community.

Efficiency Maine Trust 

The Efficiency Maine Trust (Efficiency Maine) is the independent, quasi-state agency established to plan and implement energy efficiency programs in Maine. Through its suite of nationally recognized programs, Efficiency Maine provides consumer information, marketing support, demonstration pilots, discounts, rebates, loans, and other initiatives to promote high-efficiency equipment and operations that help Maine’s homes, businesses, and institutions reduce their energy costs and lower their greenhouse gas emissions. The result is job growth, better grid reliability, improved energy independence, a stronger local economy, and progress toward meeting the State’s climate change goals. Efficiency Maine is governed by a Board of Trustees with oversight from the Maine Public Utilities Commission.

Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Custom Program

The C&I Custom Program incentivizes tailored energy efficiency and distributed generation projects that require site-specific engineering analyses and/or projects with energy conservation measures that are not otherwise covered by the C&I Prescriptive Program incentives.

Examples of customers who have participated in the C&I Custom Program include hospitals, manufacturers, universities, commercial bakeries, food processors, office complexes, and data centers.

Custom Efficiency Projects

Program Description

The Trust is seeking applications for energy efficiency projects with the principal goal of reducing energy use by Maine businesses and institutions through the installation of more efficient equipment. 

Maine businesses, nonprofits, institutions and governments are eligible for funding for electrical and thermal energy efficiency projects through Efficiency Maine’s Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Custom Program.

Eligible projects may include process improvements designed to improve efficiency, heat recovery and custom heat pump systems, HVAC equipment and controls, high efficiency compressed air systems, installation of VFDs on motors, chillers and pump upgrades.

The Brownfield Cleanup Program in New York aims to facilitate the cleanup and redevelopment of brownfield sites, thereby revitalizing economically distressed communities. By providing tax incentives and removing barriers, the program encourages private-sector investment in urban areas. Eligible properties are those with contaminants exceeding safety standards. However, sites classified as hazardous waste or under enforcement actions are ineligible. This initiative represents a significant step towards sustainable urban development.

Stark Community Foundation is one of the area’s major sources of college scholarship support— thanks to the generosity of caring individuals, families and businesses that have created scholarship funds.

The Foundation currently manages more than 100 scholarship funds that support hundreds of deserving students each year from Stark and Carroll counties. In 2025, more than $1,000,000 was awarded to local students to help them achieve their educational dreams.

The Velma Shotwell Griffin Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Velma Shotwell Griffin Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to assist graduates of Conotton Valley or Carrollton High Schools planning to enroll, or currently enrolled, at an accredited college or university to pursue further education in the following fields: History, Writing (not limited to, English, Journalism, Language Arts, Communications and programs in Mass Media), Graphic Arts, Music (which shall include but not limited to, vocal music, instrumental music, music history, music education, and music performance) and any other program or field of study approved by the Selection Committee.

The TCA Texas Arts Respond Project Grant, offered by the Texas Commission on the Arts, supports innovative arts projects that enhance education, health, economic development, public safety, and environmental awareness in Texas. Eligible applicants include various arts organizations and institutions that comply with specific regulations. This competitive grant program aims to foster creativity and community engagement, ultimately contributing to the state's cultural and economic vitality.

The RCCF Women’s Giving Circle Grants support nonprofit organizations serving women and children in Ripley County. Established by the Linda S. Phaneuf Women & Children Fund, these grants aim to address community needs through innovative projects. Grants of up to $2,000 will be available in April 2024, with potential for a second cycle during the Day of Giving. The initiative encourages collaboration and aims for significant community impact.

All Points North Foundation seeks collaborative partnerships with grantees in our two priority areas.

Solar Energy

All Points North Foundation is focused on finding ways to significantly advance the penetration of solar through education, job training and use of solar electric technologies in the United States.

All Points North Foundation has three priority areas:

Providing solar and workforce development training for Tribal communities to expand and diversify the solar job pipeline.

Working with small- to medium-sized science centers to engage students, families and local communities on the benefits and science behind solar.

Providing solar installations to nonprofit organizations that build high-quality, safe and affordable residential housing, offsetting energy costs and enabling cost savings for households.

The cost of solar has dropped dramatically over the last decade, however the upfront cost of going solar remains a hurdle for most families, communities and nonprofits.

All Points North Foundation does consider funding solar projects outside of these focal areas, but the programs must demonstrate how solar will have a broader impact on local communities (e.g., economic, social or environmental), as well as showcase the potential for replication across the nation.

CDBG Public Services

Funding Opportunity Details

Approximately $1,210,432 in federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds are available to cities and counties through the state of Iowa’s Public Services Program. All incorporated cities and all counties in the State, except those designated as HUD entitlement areas, are eligible to apply for and receive funds under this program. The Applicant will establish a subrecipient agreement with the participating nonprofit entity (“Subrecipient Partner”) for implementation of the program. Additionally, all Applicants & Subrecipient Partners must work with a Grant Administrator that complies with IEDA’s Certified Grant Administrator Policy (typically council of government or IEDA-approved consultant) to submit the application and conduct grant administration / project delivery.

The purpose of the Public Service Program is to support essential service providers, Homelessness Service Providers and Food Pantries, that address the most urgent and persistent needs of low- and moderate-income households in Iowa. By focusing resources on these high impact service areas, the program aims to support local safety nets, access to nutritious food, and individuals and families experiencing housing instability to improve community resilience. These investments complement broader CDBG goals by ensuring vulnerable Iowans receive the immediate services necessary to achieve long-term housing, health, and economic stability. 

The Sunburst Community Foundation Grant supports charitable projects that enhance the quality of life in the Sunburst area. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, governmental units, or those with a fiscal sponsor. Projects can focus on humanities, social services, public safety, or civic improvements. Preference is given to those with matching funds, ensuring a stronger impact on community development. This grant aims to empower local initiatives and foster lasting community legacies.
