By collaborating with willing landowners, CAL FIRE seeks to enhance conservation efforts, ensuring ecological integrity and public access while maintaining the area's natural landscape.

The Tennant Foundation Grants support nonprofit organizations in the Minneapolis area, focusing on environmental programs, social services, workforce readiness, and cultural initiatives. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations without religious or political affiliations, demonstrating significant community impact and sound fiscal practices. Priority is given to projects involving Tennant employees and those with a history of prior funding. The Foundation aims to create a cleaner, safer, and healthier world through intentional giving.

The SCORCH Program: Phase 2 aims to enhance the understanding of single cell biology in the context of HIV and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Building on previous research, this initiative will explore new single cell approaches to investigate the interactions between SUD and HIV progression at various biological levels. By leveraging advanced techniques, the program seeks to identify candidate mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets, ultimately contributing to innovative solutions for SUDs and HIV-related challenges.

The Mid-Atlantic Environmental Justice Fund aims to enhance community-based organizations' capacity for urban forestry through training and support. This initiative focuses on addressing environmental justice issues across the Mid-Atlantic region, promoting health and sustainability through increased tree canopy. By fostering inclusive decision-making, the Fund empowers organizations historically marginalized in securing funding. Projects must align with EPA's disadvantaged community criteria, ensuring equitable access to resources for environmental stewardship.

HealthCare Foundation for Orange County

The Foundation makes grants each, in support of our mission, to programs and services at local nonprofit hospitals, clinics and community-based organizations. Funds for our annual grant making come from charitable remainder trusts gifts and bequests of generous individuals and families, who want their charitable giving to improve the health of Orange County residents. In addition, a significant proportion of our grant making draws on the proceeds of the sale of United Western Medical Centers to Tenet, and is intended to continue the charitable legacy of those hospitals in central Orange County, California.

The Focused In-Stream Habitat (FISH) project aims to enhance in-stream habitats in Maine through a collaborative effort by the Department of Marine Resources and NRCS. This initiative seeks to improve habitat diversity and connectivity for various fish species, particularly Atlantic salmon and brook trout. With funding from the Regional Conservation Partnership Program, the project will implement restoration practices including streambank stabilization and habitat complexity restoration, ultimately benefiting local ecosystems and fisheries.

The Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Capacity Program aims to enhance the capacity of state, territorial, and Tribal entities in the U.S. to implement and sustain AIM Patient Safety Bundles. By promoting evidence-based maternal safety practices, the program strives to improve the quality of maternity care, enhance maternal health outcomes, and significantly reduce preventable maternal mortality and severe morbidity.

The Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program provides financial resources and consulting services to creative entrepreneurs in Pennsylvania, especially focusing on BIPOC individuals and those in low-income communities. By reserving 55% of funds for these groups, the program aims to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the creative sector, empowering entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and reach wider audiences while enhancing their revenues.

The Gary S. Wilmer / RAMI Music Scholarship supports local students aged 19 and under who are passionate about music and committed to furthering their education in the arts. Established in memory of Gary Wilmer, founder of RAM Magazine, this scholarship honors his legacy by providing financial assistance to aspiring musicians in Boone, Ogle, or Winnebago County. Applicants are required to submit an audition recording and a reference from a music teacher to demonstrate their dedication to musical excellence.

The SAF National Awards Program recognizes outstanding contributions to forestry through various awards, including the Employer Leadership Award. This award honors employers who significantly support SAF members' professional engagement. Recipients receive a $500 honorarium, complimentary convention registration, and travel expense support. The program aims to celebrate the achievements of individuals and organizations in promoting sustainable forestry practices and enhancing professional development, ultimately driving excellence in natural resource management.

Minnesota Innovations in Perinatal Health

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is focused on improving perinatal health outcomes for communities of color, American Indian communities, and rural communities. This RFP aligns with the Innovations for Maternal Health Outcomes in Minnesota (I-MOM) program, which centers perinatal health innovations within communities most impacted. This RFP will fund innovative activities in community engagement and communications focused on improving perinatal health and focused on supporting the implementation of the perinatal health strategic plan. Grant funds can be either used to support existing programming or used to create new programming.

The State Food Purchase Program - Gleaning Support grant aims to assist nonprofit organizations in New Jersey that engage in gleaning activities. Funded by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, the program encourages the collection of surplus produce from farms for distribution to food-insecure residents. Eligible applicants must have at least two years of operational experience in gleaning and must provide a detailed implementation plan. This initiative supports local efforts to combat hunger and promote food security.

The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) offers funding opportunities for clinical trials focused on regenerative medicine therapies, including stem cell and genetic therapies. This initiative aims to accelerate the development of innovative treatments for unmet medical needs, providing up to $15 million for clinical studies. CIRM emphasizes partnership and resource support to ensure project success, addressing the critical stages of clinical trial development within a 48-month project period.

The Jacquelin Goldman Congressional Fellowship offers developmental and clinical psychologists a unique opportunity to gain public policy experience while enhancing the application of psychological knowledge in government. Funded by the American Psychological Foundation, this fellowship supports one fellow annually with a stipend of $75,000 to $90,000, along with health insurance reimbursement and professional development funds. Applicants must demonstrate expertise in child psychology and policy issues, and have strong communication skills.

Stanislaus Community Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for students in order to help them achieve their educational and career goals. We believe that by investing in our students, we are investing in a brighter future for Stanislaus. 

Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship Fund

Applicants must be students currently enrolled in a teaching credential program, current student teachers, current teacher interns, students enrolled in a speech therapy program, or students enrolled in a school psychology program. Colleges considered: CSU Stanislaus, U.C. Merced, U.O.P., UMass Global, Teachers College of San Joaquin, Sacramento State University and CSU East Bay.

The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part D provides supplemental funding aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and capacity of organizations to deliver high-quality, family-centered HIV care services. This initiative focuses on two key areas: HIV Care Innovation and Infrastructure Development, ensuring improved access to essential services for women, infants, children, and youth affected by HIV.

The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) is offering a funding opportunity through EDUC 1.12 to manage the Annual Trainee Network Conference. This initiative aims to support CIRM's Research Training programs by selecting a qualified applicant to develop and oversee the conference scheduled between May and August 2026. This effort aligns with CIRM's mission to promote equitable regenerative medicine advancements and enhance education and training across diverse communities.

The National Institutes of Health is launching a funding opportunity to explore the mechanisms of skin injuries caused by toxic chemicals. This initiative aims to understand the common pathways of injury from various harmful substances, facilitating the discovery of therapeutic targets. Researchers are encouraged to collaborate and apply their expertise in cutaneous wound healing. The goal is to develop broad-spectrum medical countermeasures for mass casualty events involving toxic exposures, enhancing public health safety.

The TJX Foundation Grants support nonprofit organizations located within 15 miles of a TJX store that align with their community mission. Eligible areas include basic needs, education for at-risk youth, workforce training, and safety from domestic violence. Organizations must be a registered 501(c)(3) for at least 12 months and have a nondiscrimination policy. Applications are invited through a Letter of Inquiry, with funding decisions based on community impact.

The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program Training and Technical Assistance aims to enhance the capacity of ADAPs. By providing essential tools and expert guidance, the program seeks to improve health outcomes for individuals living with HIV in an evolving healthcare landscape. This initiative is funded by the US HHS through the Health Resources & Services Administration, ensuring support and resources are effectively allocated to meet the needs of vulnerable populations.

Binational Resilience Initiative

The Binational Resilience Initiative (BRI) builds resilience in the Cali-Baja region by supporting binational projects that strengthen the capacity of our communities to adapt to the impacts of our changing climate. A partnership of San Diego Foundation (SDF), International Community Foundation (ICF), Resilient Cities Catalyst (RCC), and the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative (SDRCC), we are leading an innovative, community-driven process that recognizes the interdependent environmental, economic, and cultural assets in San Diego and northern Baja California and strengthens resilience by addressing climate vulnerabilities through binational collaboration and localized solutions.

Water Grants

In San Diego and Tijuana, water treatment facilities have not been expanded at a pace that matches urban expansion. The BRI Water Grants further advances a water resilience strategy that supports the health of our communities and helps sustain water resources for the future.

Building Water Resilience

The Cali-Baja region’s continuous population growth, coupled with more frequent and extreme weather events, has placed considerable strain on the region’s natural areas and the capacity of municipal agencies to provide waste and recycling services in underserved communities. In San Diego and Tijuana, water treatment facilities have not been expanded at a pace that matches urban expansion. As a result, raw urban discharges are flowing into the river floodplain with sediment, solid waste, and polluted urban effluent being discharged to the Tijuana River, its estuary, and the ocean.

The worsening conditions of the Tijuana River are an emerging environmental threat impacting the health of local communities on both sides of the border. The quality of river flows impacts the quality of life and the health of people living near the impaired river stream, the estuary, and the surrounding coastal areas.

The Funding Opportunity

Through BRI, we are building a coordinated pooled-funding model to invest in watershed-wide binational projects that complement infrastructure investments made by federal governments in the United States and Mexico. BRI can advance water resilience projects through these priority focus areas:

• Tijuana River Restoration (transboundary river)
• Pollution Reduction (binational approach)
• Water Conservation Measures in the Tijuana River region to protect our Colorado River water supply

Lean on Me Suicide Awareness and Support Grant

The 2025 Lean on Me Jubilee event team are proud of the success of the Second Annual Lean on Me Jubilee, held September 27th, 2025. The event was a great time to connect with the community and each other to move the mission of Suicide Awareness, Prevention, and Support forward.

We are pleased to announce that the funds raised at the event will be returned to community partners through mini grants to support other non-profit organizations whose mission aligns with the mission of the Lean on Me Jubilee event team. All community non-profit organizations with programs for Suicide Awareness, Suicide Prevention, or Support for families affected by suicide are welcome to apply, but preference will be given to those who participated in making the Lean on Me Jubilee event a success.
