In partnership with our generous donors, we award millions of dollars annually to help students achieve their educational goals. Through our online system, students complete one application and are matched with available scholarships, based on their eligibility requirements.

Lake Design Foundation Scholarship

Award-winning interior designer Lawrence Lake, ASID, owner of Lawrence Lake Interiors in downtown Tempe, created the Lake Design Foundation Fund Scholarship to support students majoring in Interior Design who demonstrate outstanding creative potential. Students must be enrolled full time in undergraduate study in Interior Design and planning to pursue a career in interior design. The purpose is to identify students who will become the next generation of talent.

Jane Starke Boyd and Alexander Boyd Charitable Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is for students pursuing healthcare-related majors.

The Affordable Housing Trust Fund Grant supports low-income housing initiatives in Knoxville, providing funding for new construction, major rehabs, and various assistance programs. Eligible applicants include nonprofits and governmental entities committed to non-discriminatory practices. Assistance may be awarded as secured loans, forgivable loans, or grants, with a focus on enhancing housing opportunities for both owner-occupied and rental housing. The grant aims to promote stability and education in housing for very low-income households.

Estellean Wick Cochise Community Scholarship

The Estellean Wick Cochise Community Scholarship was established to support students from and residing in Cochise County in their efforts to attend local community colleges and other post-secondary institutions. A preference will be given to applicants attending Cochise Community College.

Desert Legacy Scholarship

This scholarship was created in order to help those who have encountered and overcome some sort of personal challenge or adversity.

This scholarship is renewable.

The Bridge to Success Grant for Mid-Career/Senior Investigators, offered by the AASM Foundation, supports seasoned sleep and circadian science researchers seeking bridge funding while reapplying for larger grants. Eligible applicants include those with past NIH proposals that were not funded but scored. This initiative aims to retain experienced investigators in the field while ensuring a continued focus on vital research topics. The grant is a part of the AASM Foundation's commitment to advancing sleep research.

The James E. and Clyda J. Montague Scholarship Fund provides financial support ranging from $2,000 to $3,000 for graduating high school seniors from any school within the DSACF service area. Eligible students must be enrolled at the University of Minnesota Duluth, the University of Wisconsin-Superior, or the College of St. Scholastica and demonstrate financial need, ensuring access to higher education opportunities.

The State Historical Fund's Planning Grant, offered by History Colorado, supports public entities and nonprofit organizations in Colorado to develop planning documents essential for future preservation projects. This grant fosters collaboration with experienced consultants familiar with the Secretary of Interior's Standards. Eligible applicants include state agencies, local governments, and certified nonprofits. The funding aims to enhance historical preservation efforts, ensuring that critical planning is completed to facilitate successful project execution.

The State Historical Fund's Noncompetitive Micro Grant, administered by History Colorado, supports grassroots preservation projects across the state. It offers flexible application timing for smaller-scale initiatives, including internships, workshops, and small physical projects. Eligible applicants include public entities and nonprofit organizations based in Colorado. This grant aims to foster community engagement and enhance access to historical resources, ensuring that the state's rich heritage is preserved for future generations.

The Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) Fellowship Program at Aspirus Health offers a unique 6-month rotation designed for new graduates to excel in hospital medicine. Aspirus Health, a nonprofit system located in Wisconsin and serving parts of Minnesota and Michigan, operates 18 hospitals and numerous outpatient locations. With a dedicated team of nearly 14,000, including 1,300 employed physicians and advanced practice clinicians, this fellowship is also open to experienced APCs transitioning between departments.

The Aspirus Scholars Program, developed by Aspirus and community partners, addresses healthcare needs in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. This initiative offers scholarships up to $175,000 to medical students at the MCW-CW Campus in exchange for a service commitment with Aspirus. The program aims to alleviate the debt burden of future medical providers while fostering a commitment to primary care and community connection, ensuring quality healthcare for generations to come.

One-time award of $2,000.

Atlantis Scholarship for Excellence

Award:

• 4-year award of $5,000 per year. Recipients will be reviewed annually and must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Community Foundation of Northern Nevada

Established in 1998 as a Nevada nonprofit 501(c) 3 Corporation, the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada has distributed more than $200 million in grants and scholarships from over 300 charitable funds to strengthen our Nevada home. 

Scholarship Program

The Community Foundation of Northern Nevada’s Scholarship Program is intended to help students cover the ever-increasing cost of tuition. Some of our scholarships are based on financial need, but others represent an award for achievement. These scholarships typically go to students who have excelled in an academic area or have shown they can balance academics, volunteer work, and extracurricular activities. There are also scholarships designated for students who have overcome adversity, students pursuing degrees in high-need areas, and adult learners outside the traditional college age group. Community Foundation scholarships can help cover tuition, books, and on-campus housing.

Orville Belding Memorial Scholarship

You are eligible to apply for the Orville Belding Memorial Scholarship if you meet all of the following criteria:

• You are a student-athlete
• You were born and raised in Nevada
• Your family income shows a need for tuition assistance
• You are a Washoe County High School senior
• You have a minimum 1100/SAT or 20/ACT score
• You agree to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and provide a copy of your unofficial transcripts at the end of each semester you are receiving a scholarship

The Meruelo Family Scholarship

The Meruelo Family Scholarship was established to provide support for dependents of Grand Sierra Resort & Casino and SAHARA Las Vegas team members who are a graduating high school senior or who are enrolled in a college or advanced learning program.

The qualifying Team Member must be a full-time employee at a qualifying property, have a minimum of one (1) year of employment, and be in good standing with the company at the time of application.

A total of $40,000 will be awarded annually; $20,000 for dependents of Grand Sierra Resort & Casino team members and $20,000 for dependents of SAHARA Las Vegas team members. Five (5) awards in the amount of $3,000 and one (1) Diamond Scholarship award in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded by each property. Funds will be distributed to any college or university for the student's benefit upon confirmation of enrollment and upon completing and signing a scholarship acceptance agreement. This scholarship is a one-time award but is renewable with reapplication.

The WebbCraft Family Foundation Grant supports nonprofit organizations that enhance education and cultural awareness. Established in 2000, the foundation has awarded over $3.3 million to various programs. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations focused on education and community development in the Belton and Honea Path areas. This funding aims to foster growth and opportunity within these communities, making a significant impact on local arts and educational initiatives.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is inviting applications for the Collections Stewardship program, which aims to enhance the preservation and accessibility of essential physical and digital collections. This initiative supports projects related to conservation, digitization, and education in collections stewardship, fostering engagement in the humanities through improved resources and services.

Julie H. Shenk Memorial Scholarship

Award:

• One time award of $1,000.

Michael J. & Hannah George Koziski College Scholarship

Awards:

4-year award of $10,000 each year, renewable if GPA of 3.0 is maintained

Margaret A. Stafford Nursing Scholarship

Award:

• One time award of $2,000. 

The Champion At Large Scholarship, offered by the Cherokee Nation Foundation, supports Cherokee Nation citizens who are full-time students or graduating high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. This one-year scholarship is specifically for those residing outside the Cherokee Nation jurisdiction and accepted into a two-year or four-year higher education institution. It aims to alleviate student debt and enhance educational opportunities for Cherokee students.

The Napa Valley Community Foundation offers diverse grant opportunities through Community Impact, Legacy, and Donor Advised Funds, supporting nonprofits addressing local needs. They prioritize effective programs and welcome inquiries about funding ideas. Eligible organizations include public charities, educational institutions, and public agencies. The Foundation seeks to match donor interests with impactful initiatives, fostering collective generosity to tackle Napa County's challenges. For more details on eligibility and application processes, potential grantees are encouraged to reach out directly.

The Security and Preparedness (SAP) Program, supported by the National Science Foundation, promotes fundamental research addressing global and national security issues. It emphasizes intellectual merit and broader impacts, encouraging projects that are methodologically sound and empirically driven. Research areas include international relations, political violence, and peace science, among others. The program also fosters undergraduate research experiences and methodological innovations, while strictly avoiding applied research.

The Western SARE Local Education and Demonstration Grants aim to promote sustainable agriculture through practical demonstrations and educational activities. This program addresses barriers to adopting sustainable practices by integrating findings from previous research. Projects can last up to three years and receive funding of up to $60,000. Successful proposals involve local demonstrations, trainings, and technical assistance, engaging farmers, ranchers, and agricultural professionals in the process of sustainable agriculture adoption.

The Trutta Fund Supporting Veterans Grant, administered by the Western Colorado Community Foundation, offers financial assistance to organizations serving veterans in Mesa and Delta Counties. Grants, typically up to $10,000, focus on projects that support veterans' basic needs, mental health, community engagement, and access to services. Eligible organizations must be qualified 501(c)(3) entities or public agencies providing services in these counties, ensuring that veterans and their families receive essential help.

Nellie G. Allen Curiosity Shop Scholarship

Award:

• One-time award of $1,000.

Philip L. Bartlett Scholarship

Award:

One time award of $5,000.
