Responsive Fund

The goal of the Responsive Fund RFP is to address immediate, emerging, or unanticipated needs within the community, recognizing that opportunities to build resilience require dedicated funding.

2) In-Kind Support for Sustainability Consultations and Capacity Building

Participants in this program will receive 1:1 consulting services tailored to an organization’s identified needs. Interact for Health will work with local consultants and community partners based on needs shared by grantee organizations.

Examples of needs include the following:

• Scenario planning  
• Legal support 
• Sustainability and development planning and implementation
• Diversified funding strategies and implementation
• Exploring collaboration, partnerships/alliances, shared services, and/or mergers
• Strategic planning and revisions 

Sustainability Consultations will include up to 30 hours of 1:1 support and will begin in late 2026. 

The Sheltering Arms Foundation Grant supports high-quality direct-service programs for children aged 0-12, focusing on early childhood and youth development along with advocacy efforts. The foundation aims to diminish opportunity gaps and enhance public commitment to children's well-being in Minnesota. Programs must be culturally appropriate and involve family engagement, ensuring children are socially and emotionally ready for kindergarten and prepared for academic success by 7th grade. Eligible organizations must be non-profits based in Minnesota.

The PATH Foundation offers Flexible Funding Grants of up to $75,000 for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Fauquier, Rappahannock, and Culpeper counties. These grants provide unrestricted operating support to enhance community health, childhood wellness, mental health, and senior services. The aim is to prioritize organizations that address critical needs and contribute to a healthy, equitable community. This initiative reflects the Foundation's commitment to leadership, impact, and strong partnerships for community well-being.

The CFNV Community Investment Funds support Northern Virginia's nonprofit sector through grants aimed at critical needs such as child development, education, mental health, and more. Organizations that have received funding since 2016 are eligible to apply, with grants ranging from $15,000 to $30,000 based on budget size. This initiative focuses on organizational strengthening and immediate client needs, ensuring vital services remain accessible during challenging times.

The Tobacco, Alcohol, and Cannabis Policy Research for Health Equity (R21 Clinical Trial Optional) aims to fund projects that explore policies related to tobacco, alcohol, and cannabis in the U.S. The focus is on understanding how these policies affect usage and exposure among disadvantaged populations. Engaging community organizations is essential for promoting equity in cancer prevention. This initiative is crucial for advancing health equity and reducing disparities in substance use.

Grant Funding for Critical Services – Sustaining Civic Infrastructure: Total investment up to $1.5 million  

This funding supports the continuity of critical community infrastructure and services by addressing the time-sensitive operational and programmatic needs. Proposals for funding should focus on critical gaps or unmet needs with deep ties to community relationships. Organizations should demonstrate readiness to deploy resources quickly if funding is provided. This RFP will prioritize funding organizations essential to advancing health justice and youth well-being among our priority populations. Grants are available at three levels: $50,000, $75,000, or $100,000 for general operating or programmatic support.

The PRO 2026-06 Mental Health Wellness Uniting Grant aims to promote mental health wellness for families and youth in Hillsborough County. Approved by the Children's Board of Hillsborough County, this grant focuses on funding services that enhance behavioral support, resource navigation, and social connections. It targets parents of children aged 0-18 and youth aged 11-18, emphasizing collaboration and measurable outcomes. Organizations with expertise in mental health are encouraged to apply.

The Human Services Funding Collaborative, supported by the City of Kent, aims to address critical community needs by providing grant funding to organizations delivering direct services. Funding is available for programs that support children, youth, older adults, and housing assistance. Eligible agencies must demonstrate strong proposals and comply with licensing requirements. Impact Grants Carroll County

The Carroll County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the release of its 2026 Impact Grant Opportunity. This one-time funding opportunity is centered around a key question: How do you make life better for the people of Carroll County? We invite nonprofit organizations to propose bold, meaningful, and actionable ideas that create measurable impact for residents.

This grant program reflects our belief that community challenges are best addressed through strategic investment in nonprofit partners who understand the needs of local residents and have the operational capacity to implement meaningful, sustainable solutions. Environmental Justice for California’s Environment and Communities Fund

This funding opportunity is borne out of a partnership with the California Department of Toxic Substances Control to receive Supplemental Environmental Project money associated with the agency’s enforcement actions. The Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment is administering these funds to support organizations working on hazardous waste related issues throughout the area affected by the facility’s violations. The funding opportunity is expected to be offered on an annual basis once established, though availability is dependent on DTSC enforcement actions.
