Maine Sea Grant Undergraduate Scholarship in Marine Sciences

In partnership with undergraduate institutions throughout the state, Maine Sea Grant is recruiting applications for its annual Undergraduate Scholarship in Marine Sciences. The goals of this scholarship program are:  

• Provide support for tuition or other academic or research-related expenses.
• Develop a statewide network of undergraduate scholars doing exemplary academic work on marine and coastal issues.
• Offer participating students academic and professional development opportunities.
• Create mutually beneficial outcomes for students, partner institutions, and Maine Sea Grant. 

Award

Each applicant selected for this award will receive a $2,000 scholarship to support tuition or other academic or research-related expenses. This award is made possible through a matching grant program in which each $1,000 award from Maine Sea Grant is matched with a $1,000 award from the selected applicant’s home institution.

The Roger Kresge Foundation Grant supports the physical, mental, and educational development of children and young adults. It is available to organizations with a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, primarily serving Broome County, New York. Interested entities should contact the Executive Director before the respective application deadlines of March 15 and August 1 to discuss their proposals. This grant aims to fund innovative projects that contribute to the community's growth.

The One Hive Foundation Grant focuses on promoting pollinator health and ecologically responsible agriculture through funding research and nonprofit initiatives. However, funding is not available for endowments, political activities, or individual requests, ensuring resources are directed towards community-enhancing efforts.

New Leaf Fund - Summer Cycle

Community Foundation of Greenville administers grants to preserve parks, open spaces, and historical and cultural assets through the New Leaf Fund.

The New Leaf Fund was established in 2025 by a Greenville native with a passion for conservation.

The Foundation encourages grant requests that include the protection of land and waterfront areas, increased tree cover and access to green spaces, and the protection and restoration of historical properties, in the City of Greenville, in Greenville County, and, to a lesser degree, in the Upstate.

Cattaraugus County Trappers Memorial Scholarship

Created by the Cattaraugus County Trappers Association, this scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school student who plans to pursue a degree in Natural Resources Conservation, Fish & Wildlife Management, Forest Management or similar area of study at a 2- or 4-year college. Financial need will be considered. Applicants must include list of outdoors sports in which they participate, a statement on importance of the role of sportsmen in conservation and management of fish and wildlife and natural resources, and information on career path in their goal statement.

The Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program provides $2,000 in funding to support creative entrepreneurs in Pennsylvania. County Forest Wildlife Habitat Grant

Eligibility & Purpose:

Funds are available to finance county forest wildlife habitat management with emphasis on forest wildlife habitat improvement, inventories and wildlife education. Funding is available at $.10/acre for counties that have lands in the county forest program
