Destination: Home is interested in supporting equitable unlimited access to high-quality internet for people who are participating in the Santa Clara County Supportive Housing System, are extremely low-income, and need access to allow for MyConnectSV use. If your 501(c)(3) organization has a Permanent Supportive Housing, Transitional Housing, Shelter, or Service Center located in Santa Clara County where you are interested in partnering to bring free wifi access to your residents and guests so they can connect to MyConnectSV, we'd love to hear about it. 

The Hazel Reed Baumeister Scholarship, established in 2001 in memory of a dedicated community member, supports high-achieving high school graduates facing financial hardships. Applicants must demonstrate commitment through community involvement, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5, and be enrolled or planning to enroll as full-time students in a four-year college or university. The Dr. James L. Hutchinson and Evelyn Ribbs Hutchinson Medical School Scholarship aims to support aspiring medical students from San Mateo or Santa Clara County. Sponsorship

As part of our commitment to support other nonprofits, we accept sponsorship requests on an ongoing basis from organizations whose mission and work align with our mission to prevent and end homelessness in Silicon Valley. 

Requests will be reviewed on a rolling basis. You can generally expect to receive a response within 2-3 business days. Payments typically take an additional 10-14 business days to process. 

The Claudia K. Salewske Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Claudia K. Salewske, a passionate educator, by supporting graduating seniors from Gilroy, California. PLTW Computer Science - New Program In Partnership With Lam Research

The Lam Foundation supports schools implementing or expanding a PLTW program in or near several of their U.S. communities. Schools seeking support for PLTW Gateway or PLTW Engineering will receive priority. The Lam Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Lam Research, a leading provider of equipment and services to the semiconductor industry.

Program Requirements

The purpose of this grant is to assist the grantee's implementation of the PLTW Computer Science program. Grantee must offer at least one PLTW Computer Science course in the 2027-2028 academic year and must offer one additional course in the 2028-2029 academic year (two different courses in two years). Grantee may implement any PLTW Computer Science courses of their choosing. Grantee must complete two years of grant reporting.
