The program supports students with financial awards of $2,000 or $4,000, depending on the duration of their preceptorship, and includes additional funds for travel expenses to attend professional conferences.

The A Fund for Women Grant, offered by the Madison Community Foundation, aims to empower women and girls in Dane County by supporting projects focused on economic empowerment and education. Eligible 501(c)3 organizations can apply for funding to enhance accessibility to education, promote financial literacy, and advocate for policy changes that support women's rights. The deadline for full applications is June 25, 2025, and multi-year grants may be considered.

The Rheumatology Scholarship supports undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students in attending ACR Convergence 2025, a premier event for rheumatology. Awardees gain exposure to innovative research and networking opportunities, enhancing their understanding of rheumatic diseases. The scholarship includes $2,000 for travel expenses and complimentary registration, encouraging future professionals to explore careers in this essential field. Mississippi Maternal Health Project

The Women’s Foundation of Mississippi is now accepting grant proposals for the Mississippi Maternal Health Project. We are seeking community-based, equity-centered strategies from nonprofit organizations that have a proven track record in maternal and infant health. These organizations will lead interventions in East Biloxi, Jackson, and Sunflower County, Mississippi. 

Funding Opportunity

WFM intends to award grants ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 each year for projects that will operate over three years. This request for proposals is open to nonprofit organizations located in Mississippi that provide services in East Biloxi, Jackson, and Sunflower County, Mississippi.

Submission Requirements

The Mississippi Maternal Health Project’s goal is to improve maternal and infant health by reducing maternal mortality, infant mortality, and preterm births through expanded access to comprehensive maternal health services and early interventions. 

We are prioritizing projects that clearly demonstrate measurable outcomes in maternal and infant health. These projects should be deeply rooted in the three service areas and trusted by women and families. We aim to serve populations with the greatest racial and geographic disparities. Additionally, we are committed to learning, data collection, and continuous improvement to inform statewide system changes. 

Proposals must address at least one or two of the following outcomes during the three-year grant cycle for consideration: 

• Expanded equitable access to quality care for 1,500 low-income and at-risk women, with at least 75% enrolled in health or support services during the first trimester. 
• Enhanced local capacity with 150 trained providers and sustained collaboration networks among healthcare and community partners. 
• Embed community voice and data-driven learning into statewide systems, culminating in a maternal health sustainability policy plan by 2028

The Community Conservation Fund, managed by the British Columbia Conservation Foundation, empowers local communities to engage in conservation initiatives that protect and enhance wildlife and ecosystems. This program is open to Indigenous Peoples, non-profits, and community organizations in British Columbia, fostering collaboration and education to positively impact local fish and wildlife populations. Projects must be community-driven, occur within the calendar year, and cannot primarily benefit the applicant.

Dover Grants, offered by Speedway Children's Charities, supports 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations focused on children's welfare in Delaware and the mid-Atlantic region. The grants prioritize initiatives assisting homeless, foster children, and victims of trafficking. Applicants must complete a two-phase application process, beginning with a Pre-Proposal and followed by a Full Proposal if selected. The organization emphasizes funding for critical, medical, and educational needs to foster a brighter future for children.

The CCCF Common Ground Program offers Forest Health and Fire Resilience Project Grants aimed at enhancing forest health and community fire resilience. Eligible projects must demonstrate a collaborative approach and provide community value, such as fuel breaks across public and private lands. Funding ranges from $5,001 to $500,000 per year, with a focus on leveraging resources to maximize impact. This initiative supports various organizations in achieving sustainable land management and protecting vital ecosystems.

The San Francisco Green Infrastructure Grant Program, managed by the SFPUC, aims to support property owners in creating green stormwater infrastructure. This initiative includes projects like permeable pavement and rain gardens, designed to reduce stormwater runoff from at least 0.5 acres of impervious surfaces. Grants can provide up to $2.5 million per project, enhancing public benefits while improving sewer system performance for SFPUC rate payers.

The Southeast Asian Economic Disparities Relief Competitive Grant aims to alleviate economic disparities within Southeast Asian communities by funding workforce recruitment, development, job creation, and capacity-building initiatives. Targeting individuals of Southeast Asian descent aged 18 and older, including Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, and other groups, the grant seeks qualified proposals that enhance outreach and support smaller organizations in their efforts to serve these communities effectively.

Environmental Stewardship: Research Grants

FAO, through its Environmental Stewardship Pillar of Prosperity Fund, offers funding opportunities to advance conservation, environmental stewardship and the greater well-being of Appalachian Ohio.

FAO welcomes proposals for projects that result in scalable change, with a priority for projects that will impact multiple counties. FAO will consider funding requests between $5,000 and $50,000 per project, and at least $150,000 is available to award. We encourage applicants to propose research with the potential to significantly impact the understanding of aquatic biodiversity, water quality and threats to healthy habitats. The following examples illustrate eligible projects, but proposals are not limited to the listed areas.

The Asset Inventory and Assessment Grants, established by Session Law 2015-241, aim to enhance the viability and proactive management of water and wastewater utilities. Grants can reach up to $150,000 over three years, available to local government units and nonprofit water corporations for projects such as asset inventory and critical asset condition assessments. Eligible applicants are encouraged to participate in training sessions, which are free of charge, to better navigate the grant application process.

Scholarship eligibility requires students to attend an accredited 2 or 4 year public or private institution of higher learning. All scholarships are for full-time students, unless otherwise noted. Renewable awards are for 4 years of undergraduate study and cannot be used for post graduate coursework; all awards are paid directly to the school or may be used for book reimbursement.

The NSEDC Water and Sewer Fund Grant provides critical financial support for water and sewer projects in Norton Sound communities, allocating $1 million for upgrades or new construction. Additionally, it offers emergency funding up to $300,000 for urgent health and infrastructure needs. This program, renewed in 2024 and set to expire in 2029, aims to enhance community health and financial stability through essential water and sewer improvements.

The Merger/Regionalization Feasibility Grants, established by Session Law 2015-241, aim to support local government units and nonprofit water corporations in evaluating the consolidation of water and wastewater systems. Grants, capped at $50,000 over three years, encourage proactive management and financing of utilities. Eligible projects include studies on potential system interconnections for regional water supply and wastewater treatment. Training is recommended for applicants to maximize grant benefits.

The Con Alma Annual Grant offers funding to nonprofits in New Mexico focused on improving health equity and access to healthcare for underserved populations. Prioritizing community impact over individual services, the grant supports initiatives in culturally appropriate services, health promotion, evaluation, and workforce development. Eligible organizations include those with a 501(c)(3) status or fiscal sponsors, aiming to uplift marginalized communities and address health disparities in the region.

The Northern New Mexico Health Grant, funded by Con Alma Health Foundation, aims to enhance healthcare access for underserved communities in New Mexico. With grants up to $20,000, it supports initiatives that focus on health equity, culturally appropriate services, and workforce development. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations that demonstrate a commitment to improving health outcomes for marginalized populations, particularly in rural and tribal areas. This grant prioritizes collective benefits over individual services, fostering community-wide health improvements.

The North Dakota NPS Section 319 grant aims to combat nonpoint source pollution through voluntary, incentive-based initiatives. By coordinating with local partners, the program assesses priority watersheds, implements restoration plans, and raises public awareness about water quality issues. This funding supports diverse projects, including assessments and educational outreach, to ensure the protection of North Dakota's water resources and promote best management practices among agricultural landowners.

Crime Prevention and Justice Assistance Division

CPJAD serves as the central agency to provide the Attorney General, the chief law enforcement officer of Hawaii, with the information and resources needed to address crime and crime prevention. This enables the Attorney General to facilitate and coordinate efforts to improve the criminal justice system and to encourage community partnerships in addressing crime.

Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Formula Grant (JAG)

The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program is a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). The Hawaii Department of the Attorney General, Grants & Planning Branch, is the State Administering Agency (SAA) for JAG funds. JAG can be utilized for state and local initiatives, technical assistance, strategic planning, research and evaluation (including forensics), data collection, training, personnel, equipment, forensic laboratories, supplies, contractual support, and criminal justice information systems that will improve and enhance the criminal justice system.

The H. Hovnanian Family Foundation Grant supports the Armenian community in Armenia and the U.S., focusing on Monmouth and Ocean Counties, New Jersey. The Foundation prioritizes education, healthcare, arts, and youth development through grants to registered non-profits. Proposals should demonstrate sustainability and community impact, with favorable consideration given to projects that engage local stakeholders and foster collaboration. Applications are accepted year-round, with a maximum funding limit of $10,000 for operational expenses.

The Bay Area Lyme Foundation Grant supports innovative research aimed at improving diagnostics and treatments for Lyme disease. With a revised granting schedule, proposals can be submitted year-round, with reviews conducted three times annually. The foundation welcomes applications from universities, hospitals, and independent entities across the U.S., emphasizing the importance of addressing challenges in diagnosing and treating Lyme disease, especially for difficult cases.

The Community Waste Reduction and Recycling (CWRAR) Grant Program is now accepting proposals for 2025, aiming to help local governments enhance waste reduction and recycling efforts in North Carolina. Grants of up to $40,000 are available for priority projects that implement or expand curbside recycling, hazardous waste programs, or electronics recycling initiatives. The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services is inviting proposals for projects aimed at reducing nonpoint source pollution in waterbodies across South Carolina. Projects should achieve measurable water quality improvements and align with an approved watershed plan. Administered in consultation with the EPA, these grants support initiatives that incorporate best management practices and require a non-federal match. Eligible projects must focus on on-the-ground implementation to enhance local water quality.

Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA)

Statewide Environmental Assistance Grants - Fiscal years 2026-2028

The MPCA is offering approximately $250,000 in grant funding to help Minnesota governments, businesses, institutions, and organizations address two specific needs:

• reuse materials to reduce waste
• reduce toxic chemicals in hair products

This program's primary goals are to

• reduce waste generated in Minnesota,
• reduce greenhouse gases emitted by manufacturing new items, and
• eliminate toxic chemicals and metals from hair products to protect human health and the environment.
