• Access to Care
  • We are interested in projects that:
    • Support outreach, education and enrollment efforts for the children’s health insurance program (i.e. KidCare), Medicaid, and the ACA health insurance marketplace.
    • Increase access to care, patient engagement, and/or improved health outcomes via digital health technology.
    • Expand the adoption of alternate delivery models that increase access to care, especially for uninsured and underinsured (e.g. nurse-managed health centers, telehealth/digital health, use of peers/navigators/CHWs).
    • Provide operating support to safety net clinics to maintain or expand minimum level of patients served and/or improve services.
    • Advocate for and help to inform state and regional solutions that increase access, availability, and utilization of healthcare.
• Health and Social Needs
  • We are interested in projects that:
    • Facilitate connections and collaboration between stakeholders across the healthcare and social services sectors to address the social needs of low-income South Florida residents.
    • Support the adoption of technology platforms, within a collaborative infrastructure, that allow for increased efficiencies in the referral of patients and clients in need of health and social services.
    • Support implementation, evaluation and scaling of social needs interventions, such as medical-legal partnerships and food pharmacies.
    • Advocate for and inform healthcare financing and payment mechanisms for social needs interventions.
• Thriving Communities
  • We are interested in projects that:
    • Increase the understanding of the connection between housing and health.
    • Strengthen the capacity of residents and community-based organizations to advocate for improved housing policies.
    • Pilot projects that couple health and housing, inclusive of supportive services models.
    • Support policy and advocacy activities that help fund, create, or protect affordable housing resources across our region.
  • In relation to our work with anchor institutions, we will fund projects implemented through the South Florida Anchor Alliance, for which membership and participation in work group meetings is required. Project objectives must align with the Alliance’s official Blueprint. We will support projects that:
    • Increase the number of regional institutions aligning internal practices and resources that contribute to an inclusive local economy.
    • Increase community benefit investments in community wealth building.
    • Support workforce pipeline programs targeting unemployed or under-employed individuals and communities.
• Other Community Needs
  • Preference will be given to proposals that demonstrate the following criteria:
    • An identified need is clearly demonstrated.
    • Goals, objectives, and outcomes are realistic and measurable.
    • Project budget fully explains how the Foundation’s funds will be used.

Karpus Family Foundation Grants

Helping people and animals in need through pride in work and education, since 2015. The Karpus Family Foundation, founded by George W. Karpus, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with an emphasis on helping people and animals in need. Promoting education is also a goal, with the ultimate objective of helping people live a productive life. 

Funding Purposes

• Training and assisting disabled individuals and disabled armed forces veterans to become productive workers and lead productive lives.
• Preventing the abuse to women and children and providing medical and health services to such abused women and children who cannot otherwise afford it.
• Fostering the role of education in preventing community violence and reducing the threat of criminals to society.
• Preventing cruelty to animals and caring of displaced animals; provided, however, that no support shall be provided to medical charities that cause suffering to animals.
• Providing anti-abortion incentives and right to life education to the general Christian/Judeo public.
• Supporting medical institutions that provide leading edge treatment and research.
• Providing educational assistance in the form of grants and scholarships to individuals of a charitable class, provided, however that grants or scholarships shall not be awarded either to individuals who are employed by the Foundation or to the children of individuals who are employed by the Foundation.
• Supporting organizations that promote: sound, conservative economic principals and education, free markets, capitalism, and the United States Constitution.

Our Mission

The Foundation’s mission is to utilize its assets to assist any not-for-profit organization seeking to promote the arts or create programs that inspire, engage, and teach.

We hope that someday the arts will no longer be considered a school elective or an interest for the few but a necessity for living a full life and for the health of our hearts and minds. 

Through our partnerships in the community, we are utilizing the arts to harness its extraordinary power to inspire, raise educational outcomes for students, and enrich the overall quality of life in marginalized communities.

We believe that there is a great synergy in combining the talents of musicians, museum educators, nonprofit arts advocates, actors, teachers, and writers. We believe that the arts, in all forms, have significant intrinsic societal value and can take on multiple roles in youth education for healthy brain and social development. 

In keeping with our mission, the Foundation values and will support organizations protecting and utilizing nature to enrich peoples’ lives through conservation and beautification. We believe that a healthy environment means a healthier population overall. 

Studies have shown that children benefit both mentally and physically from outdoor activity and clean air. We seek to continue to work with organizations that understand the value of our human connection with and reliance on a thriving and accessible green infrastructure.

Our Foundation is also interested in supporting health science and medical research. We understand that supporting cutting-edge technology and research is paramount in gaining important ground on treating and hopefully curing all forms of cancers and diseases. We are specifically interested in supporting research in treating and curing pancreatic and other forms of high-mortality illnesses that have lagged in funding and medical advancement. 

P/Arts Program

P/Arts Program Information

P/Arts stands for Philanthropic Arts and is our Foundation’s own initiative launched in 2019 to help catalyze non-profit, tax-exempt public charities, accredited schools and universities, and government or public agencies. We want to help implement or enhance educational programs utilizing the arts in daily curricula for early childhood education programs as well as K-12 students.

The P/Arts Program Was Created To Encourage Partnerships Within The Philanthropic Arts And Education Communities.

Organizations applying for P/Arts funding must be accredited 501(c)(3) organizations that are using performing and/or visual arts education to help:

Peacock Foundation, Inc. enhances and promotes the good health and  well-being of South Florida’s children and families.

Founded in 1947, Peacock Foundation, Inc.’s mission is to enhance and promote the good health and well-being of children and families through contributions, gifts, and grants to eligible nonprofit organizations located in and/or of significant benefit primarily to residents of Miami-Dade County.

About IMPACT The Palm Beaches

Impact the Palm Beaches is a philanthropic organization where women collectively award grants to nonprofits in Central and Northern Palm Beach County to ignite transformational change in our community. Membership consists of women who annually contribute $1,100 ($1,000 to the Impact grant and a $100 administrative fee). Once a year, Impact members gather at our Annual Award Celebration to award $100,000 grant(s) to local nonprofits. The exact amount of funds available to award in any given year depends on the number of women who join the organization. Since 2015, Impact has invested over $1.5 million.

The Town of Palm Beach United Way serves as the fiscal agent for Impact the Palm Beaches.

Once a year, Impact members gather at our Annual Award Celebration to award $100,000 grant(s) to local nonprofits. Since 2015, Impact has invested nearly $1.9 million.

Grant Process

Impact the Palm Beaches annually grants awards of $100,000 to local nonprofit agencies that meet our eligibility requirements to help them fund high-impact projects. The number of $100,000 grants awarded each year is determined by how many members have joined Impact. For each member, $1000 is pooled to create grants. For every 100 members, a $100,000 grant is awarded. For residual funds under $100,000, merit grants are awarded.

There is one grant cycle per year beginning around September and ending in April/May. Grants finalists are identified after detailed review and evaluation by the Grants Review Committee and selected for final award based on vote by the membership at our Annual Awards Celebration. In April 2025, we awarded $358,000 across six agencies.

Nonprofit agencies are encouraged to apply through a Letter of Intent (LOI) as long as the agency meets all the grant eligibility requirements. In the Letter of Intent, agencies will provide an overview of their program or project, community need, target population and success measurements along with a financial budget for the program or project. Grant Committee members review agency submissions and will vote on which Letter of Intent applications to advance to the next stage of the process.

We seek to fund programs that:

• Reach underserved populations and address or satisfy unmet needs
• Solve a problem or create an opportunity for strategic change
• Create long term positive impact
• Are well-defined, studied, and deliberate
• Can demonstrate specific, measurable outcomes

Rare Pediatric Diseases Research Grant Program

This grant program aims to provide the first-ever funding opportunity to the state of Florida for innovative approaches to research and treatment for rare pediatric diseases. Funding is available exclusively to Florida-based institutions.

Major Goals of Funding:

These funds will be used to solicit innovative grant funding applications and distribute funds to successful grantees. A total of $500,000 in funding is available for the purpose of awarding a research grant(s) to support innovative research projects. This funding opportunity marks recurring funds annually for research specific to rare pediatric diseases. New ideas for improving the health and well-being of all children with a rare disease for the purposes of the grant are not defined, but open based on need. The Florida Department of Health (Department) is responsible for the procurement process and contractual management.

The program shall provide grants to further the search for cures and treatment, by pursuing the following goals:

• Significantly expand research capacity in Florida.
• Investigate novel approaches in research and therapeutics.
• Reduce the impact on underserved populations.
• Reduce silos through diverse partnerships with nontraditional partners.

Supporting Historic Sacred Places

A program of Partners for Sacred Places in collaboration with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the National Fund for Sacred Places provides financial and technical support for community-serving historic houses of worship across America.

What We Offer

The National Fund for Sacred Places provides matching grants of $50,000 to $250,000 to congregations undertaking significant capital projects at historic houses of worship, along with wraparound services including training, technical assistance, and planning support.

What We’re Looking For

The National Fund for Sacred Places assesses applicant eligibility according to the core criteria shown below, while also striving to build a diverse participant pool that reflects a broad range of geographic, cultural, and religious identities.

Historic, Cultural, or Architectural Significance

We are looking for buildings that have historic, cultural, or architectural significance—and sites that have important and relevant stories to tell. Many of our participants are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the state register, or the local register. Your building does not have to be on one of these lists, but eligibility for one or more of these lists is a good benchmark for National Fund eligibility.

As part of the National Trust’s commitment to telling the full American story, we particularly encourage congregations to apply that illuminate a unique or overlooked aspect of American history and that expand our understanding of our shared national heritage. We encourage submissions related to historic sacred places of importance to historically and contemporaneously underrepresented communities including, but not limited to, women, immigrants, Asian Americans, Black Americans, Latinx Americans, Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and LGBTQIA communities.

Successful applicants are able to demonstrate their place in history by answering questions such as:

• Does the building tell a story relevant to our history—either cultural or religious?
• Does the history highlight previously underrecognized communities, stories, or locations?
• How has the building served the community over time? Does the building have a great physical presence in its community due to its location or programming?
• Is the building the work of a notable architect? If so, is it a high-quality example of their body of work?
• Is the building an exceptional example of its architectural style or building technology?
• Does the building embody the congregation’s resilience over time?

Community-Serving Congregations

We are looking for congregations that are engaged in their communities and that are serving others. Engaged congregations operate and host programming that serves vulnerable, at-risk, and diverse populations; share space with non-affiliated groups and organizations (often at subsidized rates); work with other congregations, faith-based organizations, nonprofit organizations, and/or municipalities; and have a widespread reputation for being a welcoming center of community life.

Project Scope and Need

We fund historic preservation projects addressing urgent repair needs and/or life safety. We also fund projects that increase congregations’ ability to open their buildings to new populations or to serve greater numbers of people. All projects must adhere to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation, which is a universally accepted framework for doing work to older and historic properties.

We prioritize congregations/projects where there is a demonstrated need (meaning that the congregation cannot raise the funds alone) or where it is clear that our grant will have a catalytic effect (meaning that our grant is likely to lead to additional monies being contributed to the project).

Readiness

Once-in-a-generation capital projects require a great deal of planning. We are looking for applicants that understand their buildings’ needs and that are ready to undertake a capital campaign. National Fund congregations typically have a history of successful capital campaigns, which demonstrate an ability to raise significant funds and complete a project.

Successful congregations come to us with a realistic fundraising goal, which has been generated with the help of qualified preservation professionals and is not too far beyond the congregation’s fundraising capacity.

Healthy Congregations

The National Fund prioritizes healthy, stable congregations so that our investment is truly impactful and lasting. We look for the following, although this is not an exhaustive list of characteristics that indicate healthy congregations: tenured, well-respected clergy; capable lay leadership; stable or growing membership; financial strength and stability; support of the judicatory or governing body, if applicable; and a history of weathering any congregational conflict or trauma with resilience.

Supporting Nonprofits in Northeast Florida

Strengthening nonprofits through grantmaking and other services is critical to our mission of building a better community. In partnership with our donors, we have distributed approximately $600 million in grants across a broad range of programs since our founding in 1964.

Program Support - Putnam County

These grants are available to assist with improving the quality of life in Putnam County by promoting educational opportunities, expanding safety net programs, and promoting the general welfare of Putnam County residents.

Focus Areas

Projects should be serving Putnam County exclusively and address one of the following focus areas. 

Requests can be made for up to $25,000 to:

• Support and expand safety net programs serving Putnam County
• Improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, including Veterans and First Responders with service-related disabilities

Requests can be made for up to $10,000 to:

• Expand access to quality out-of-school time programs for children and youth focused on academic progress, physical well-being, emotional health and related positive youth development areas

Organizations who do not currently have an open grant will be prioritized.

Grant Guidelines

At The St. Joe Community Foundation (Foundation), we consider our grants in Bay & Walton Counties as investments, not charity or obligations. As such, we look for projects in Bay and Walton Counties that promise long-term returns on the quality of life in our region. Focused primarily on building healthier communities, our investments are based on building civic infrastructure that provides ongoing improvements to the area.

Helping Children reach their full potential

The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) is committed to helping children in Central Florida realize their full potential, especially those most at risk, by supporting programs and partnerships that empower families and change lives.

History

At the heart of the Magic's charitable efforts is the work done by the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF), which is committed to helping children in Central Florida realize their full potential, especially those most at-risk, by supporting nonprofit organizations offering youth-based programs in the areas of arts, education, health and wellness, and homelessness.

Over the last 35 years, more than $30 million has been distributed to local nonprofit community organizations through OMYF. The Foundation raises community dollars annually through donations from individuals, fundraising events, and programs that include the Orlando Wine Festival and Auction, OMYF Open Golf Tournament, State of Florida License Plate Program, Employee Giving Campaign, 50/50 Raffle and E-Auctions.

IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area Grant

Organizations apply in one of the five focus areas – Arts, Culture & History; Education; Environment & Recreation; Family; or Health & Wellness.

Process

Each year, IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area funds projects with high potential for community impact.

IMPACT 100 has no paid employees or staff, so one hundred percent of each member’s annual contribution of $1,000 is pooled and awarded to nonprofit organizations in increments of at least $100,000 grants. Grant funding comes from member contributions and each IMPACT 100 member will vote to select the funded projects.

Membership donations are collected through March 1st. The exact amount of money available for grants is revealed at our membership announcement event in March. The number of grants available each year is determined by the number of members we have as of March 1st each year.

IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida Grants

IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida is a group of women that seeks to transform the lives of people in Okaloosa and Walton Counties by funding transformational, high impact projects through grants to nonprofit organizations in those counties. The exact amount of funds available for award in any given year depends upon the number of women who join the organization. 

Grants will be awarded in amounts of at least $100,000.00, possibly more. The exact amount of this year’s grant(s) will be announced in early May following the end of our membership drive. Please note that all projects must show the need for and proposed use of the entire grant amount.

Focus Areas

Nonprofit organizations submit their applications under one of five specific focus areas.

• Education: Projects and initiatives essential to improving the educational process or improving access to education for children and/or adults in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
• Environment: Projects and initiatives essential to protecting, preserving, revitalizing or restoring natural resources or environmental facilities in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
• Family: Projects and initiatives that strengthen and enhance the lives of children and families residing in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
• Health & Recreation: Projects and initiatives that positively impact the physical and/or mental health and wellness of residents of Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
• Arts & Culture: Projects and initiatives essential to cultivating, developing, educating and improving cultural initiatives in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

Impact food security of families and communities to help mitigate associated costly issues, which can be detrimental to health, development and well-being

Florida Blue Foundation’s overall goal is to move families, children, individuals, and communities from food insecurity to food security. Priorities include:

Priority: Improving Access to Healthy Food

Food insecurity and the lack of access to affordable nutritious food are associated with increased risk for many chronic health conditions. This area of interest focuses on improving access to fresh healthy foods and promoting self-sufficiency through comprehensive community-based solutions. Programs may vary in scope but should include a nutrition education component to help mitigate the health risks associated with food insecurity.

When channeled, the gifts of many residents can actively meet the most pressing needs of the community, whatever those needs are today, and whatever they may be tomorrow. By offering a competitive grantmaking process, we are able to glean valuable knowledge about our community and its ever-changing needs.

Categories

The Community Foundation welcomes and encourages grant applications that address one or more of the following broad categories:

Animals:

• We value healthy bio-diverse life and ecosystems, and address the ethical treatment of animals, threatened species, habitat conservation and connectivity, invasive species management, among other programs.

Arts & Culture

• Art, music, and everything that makes our lives more vibrant and rich.
  • We support symphonies, exhibitions, theater, human connection and appreciation of diverse cultures and art forms, and deepen community-based arts education for children and adults.

Community Capacity:

• The social good sector keeps our community healthy and whole.
  • We help nonprofits with strategic planning, board development, financial management, outcome evaluation, fundraising, marketing, and organizational restructuring and mergers/, purchase of office equipment and software programs so they can thrive.

Education:

• Promote social, emotional and cognitive development of young children, including programs that support and educate parents and efforts that engage volunteers, expand academic support; mentoring and recreational programs for children and youth, particularly to close the achievement gap; broaden workplace, career and postsecondary experiences and opportunities for youth; improve adult literacy, skill development, education and workforce training

Environment:

• Support stewardship, appreciation, and protection of outdoor spaces and wildlife – on land and in water.

Opportunity & Empowerment:

• Meeting basic human needs, including food, shelter and access to health care. Improve residents’ ability to meet local affordability challenges by helping them secure affordable, stable housing, recover from financial crisis, and/or increase earning potential.
• Programs reaching vulnerable communities.
• Activities that maximize the functioning of special needs populations in mainstream society; that protect the public (crime and delinquency prevention, legal administration, legal services); firefighting and police activities, and programs of community centers.

Health & Wellness:

• Improve community-based health and wellness; activities that improve and promote health outcomes; general and rehabilitative health services; mental health; crisis intervention; associations or services associated with specific diseases, disorders, and medical disciplines.

Centene Charitable Foundation

Impact 100 SRQ

The Impact100 model is readily available to all communities who wish to implement it. The model is designed to empower women to see themselves as philanthropists and overcome the barriers women have historically faced in this arena. The model is designed for transformational grant-making within local communities, with a minimum grant size of $100,000.

WHO WE ARE

Admirals Cove Foundation is the philanthropic foundation of The Club at Admirals Cove, a private community in Jupiter, Florida. The Foundation board, members, and volunteers are comprised exclusively of Admirals Cove residents. ACF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was founded in 2004 by then Club President, Donald Daren, who saw the need to strengthen the community outside Admirals Cove’s gates. Countless members have generously donated and volunteered their time to support our mission.

Admirals Cove Foundation Grant

Grant funding is focused on programs impacting the Education, Health, and Social Service needs of individuals and families in the northern Palm Beach County area. The geographical focus area is North Palm Beach (Northlake Blvd.) north to Tequesta (County Line Rd). Special consideration is given to nonprofit organizations with programs impacting Jupiter residents.

Education

We support nonprofit organizations, public and charter school programs, and initiatives that promote and improve access to education for people of all ages.

Health

We support projects and programs of nonprofit organizations committed to improving the physical or mental wellness of children and adults.

Social Service

We support nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of families, children, and individuals including veterans, who are in need of food, shelter, and assistance.

Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow Grant

The Community Foundation of North Florida’s (CFNF) mission is to enhance the quality of life in the North Florida community through the promotion and support of charitable giving. Our vision is to serve as an illuminator of community needs while connecting donors to charitable causes they care most to support.

To further our mission and vision, CFNF is launching Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow (HTST), a small grant program to benefit nonprofit organizations in the Big Bend region. This grant opportunity is designed to provide immediate support to nonprofit organizations that are addressing community needs with programs or services that have the potential for long-term community impact. 

Our small grant program will provide ten $5,000 grants and place priority on applications from nonprofits providing programs or services in the areas of Education and Social & Human Services (specifically, Basic Needs). These two funding priority areas were selected by the CFNF Board of Directors after reviewing the results of a community needs assessment survey. CFNF asked survey respondents to rank the community’s most pressing needs in seven areas historically supported by its donors. Those areas are Arts & Culture, Social & Human Services, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Health & Wellness, and Social Services. Survey respondents included donors, nonprofits in our 11-county footprint who have received a grant from CFNF within the past 25 years, and community stakeholders who participated in our strategic planning process.

Florida Blue Foundation

Florida Blue Foundation is committed to improve health equity by impacting food security, advancing mental well-being, growing healthy communities, and addressing health disparities. Our support is aligned with community needs to help people and communities achieve better health.

We’re focused on three funding priority areas that include Improving Health, Food Security, and Mental Well-Being.

Health Equity

The current health equity grant focuses on Maternal Health.  The intent of the Maternal Health grant program is to award three- and four-year grants to nonprofit organizations that have documented expertise and experience in creating more equitable maternal health outcomes. Programs should provide equitable access to quality maternal health services and support throughout each stage of pregnancy and beyond.

Goal: Ensure every mother and baby will receive quality care throughout each stage of pregnancy and beyond.

Funding

• Florida Blue Foundation has approximately $3 million for the funding of this program.
• The Foundation will fund three- and four-year grants. The total amount requested for the life of the grant should range between $270,000 to $400,000 (the approximate amount per year is between $90,000 to $100,000).

A.L. Lewis Black Opportunity & Impact Fund

The A.L. Lewis Black Opportunity & Impact Fund supports nonprofit organizations and programs/projects working within selected neighborhoods in Duval County. The overarching objective of these grants is to empower residents to collaborate and enhance their communities by leveraging their skills, experiences and expertise to uplift community health, education, and economic opportunities.

Igniting Transformational Change

Established by 22 community stewards in 2022, the A.L. Lewis Black Opportunity & Impact Fund is the first of its kind in Northeast Florida. Supporting this important work achieves enduring change in three focus areas to strengthen Black neighborhoods and the organizations that serve them.

• Economic Development
  • Increased access to opportunities that create inclusive and economically thriving communities.

  • Investments in educational resources that equip individuals and organizations with the tools to succeed in a career, business, and/or industry.
• Healthcare
  • Solutions that target eliminating social, racial, and economic barriers to achieve optimal health and well-being in Black communities.

Purpose Statement

The Fischer Family Foundation supports the mission of improving the lives of underprivileged and low-income populations primarily ages 8-25 in Southwest Florida through various resources that support enriching lives, improving mental health, and promoting overall well-being. These resources are focused on, but not limited to, education, summer camps, intensive overnight wellness and/or recovery retreats, wilderness programs, and substance abuse treatment facilities, programs and/or services.

Funding priority is given, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Substance Abuse
• Prevention and education programs targeting youth and at-risk populations
• Accessible treatment and recovery support services
• Harm-reduction initiatives, such as needle exchange programs
• Mental health
• Initiatives that improve access to mental health services in underserved areas
• Programs addressing the mental health needs such as summer camp, overnight retreats
• Camps serving underprivileged children including scholarships for low-income families
• Outdoor education programs that promote environmental stewardship and experiential learning

Priority will be given to requests to provide underprivileged youth access to opportunities for connection, skill building, conflict resolution, independence, and new experiences that can enrich their lives socially and emotionally.

Grant Types

• Multi-year grants may be considered for well-established organizations with a proven track record

• Grant sizes typically range from $5,000 to $15,000, yet larger grants may be awarded for exceptional projects

Safe Communities Program

The Safe Communities Program strives to ensure safety and opportunity for all Greater Miami residents. We do this by investing in education and economic mobility, health services to overcome substance dependence, and collective action to improve community safety. The Fund is particularly focused on supporting survivors of human trafficking, gun violence, and other crimes as well as people who were previously involved in the justice system.

The Miami Foundation collaborates with over 1,000 fundholders that seek to invest in the Greater Miami community. Among those, we manage two field of interest funds set up with the State Attorney’s Office for the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida. To effectively invest these community resources, the Safe Communities Program was established as one comprehensive grant program in 2021. The program will continue to pursue the Funds’ shared mission to ensure Greater Miami is a safe community that offers opportunities for all residents.

What We Fund

The Safe Communities Program supports nonprofit work in five categories. The descriptions below are intended only to provide guidance and do not exclude other potential approaches. Proposals in each category are considered equally.

Eligible organizations may submit only one application in only one category.

• Crime Prevention and Deterrence
  • Build a safe community that offers opportunity for all people by activating residents to improve community safety as well as investing in economic and educational mobility to develop alternatives to illicit activity, particularly for people who were previously incarcerated or involved in the justice system.
  • This may include job training or placement programs as well as educational programs about illicit substances to prevent impaired driving.
• Human Trafficking
  • Support minors or adults who are survivors of human trafficking through high quality services such as health care, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, housing, immigration services or other critical needs.
• Substance Dependence Services
  • Guide people to overcome substance dependence or misuse by providing wraparound services that may include substance abuse counseling and treatment, mental health services, or support strategies to develop personal resilience.
• Survivor Assistance
  • Help survivors and their loved ones overcome the financial, health, or other challenges they face as a result of being victims of gun violence or other crimes.
  • This may include education assistance.
• Youth Development
  • Prepare youth to successfully reach their full potential in academics, career, and life by supporting youth whose life experiences or environments put them at risk for becoming involved in crime or violence.
  • This may include mentoring, educational support, employment and career preparation, or personal development.
