Grants are available to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations primarily in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, supporting activities that foster civic engagement and understanding of democratic principles. The Foundation emphasizes direct involvement in the political process and does not fund political activities or provide individual grants.

PLTW Engineering - New Program In Partnership With Ardagh Group

Ardagh Group has partnered with PLTW to support education in its local communities where Ardagh employees live and work. This partnership recognizes the critical role education, and access to education, plays in ensuring equal opportunities and in building successful, vibrant communities. It is expected that over the next 10 years, Ardagh sponsored education programs will benefit more than 500,000 PreK-12 students as well as delivering best-in-class teacher training to more than 5,000 teachers across 2,000 schools in Ardagh's U.S. communities.

Program Requirements

The purpose of this grant is to assist the grantee's implementation of the PLTW Engineering program. Grantee must offer the PLTW Engineering program for three academic years. Grantee must offer at least one PLTW Engineering course in the 2027-2028 academic year and must offer one additional course in the 2028-2029 academic year (two different courses in two years). Grantee may implement any PLTW Engineering courses of their choosing. Grantee must complete three years of grant reporting.

The Francis Grants, established by Catholic Extension, offer funding for significant events in poor mission dioceses, such as the ordination of new Bishops, anniversaries, or papal visits. These grants also support educational endeavors for Bishops. Named in honor of Francis Clement Kelly, Francis Cardinal George OMI, and Pope Francis, the program aims to strengthen the Catholic faith across the U.S. Since 1905, Catholic Extension has invested over $500 million to assist communities in need.

The Conservation Partners Grant Program, funded by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, supports private landowners in implementing regenerative agriculture and conservation practices. By awarding competitive grants, the program facilitates technical assistance for developing management plans and best practices, enabling landowners to maximize the ecological benefits of their lands. Grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 are awarded to 501(c)(3) nonprofits in areas where Sprouts Farmers Market operates. This funding emphasizes health and nutrition education, as well as programs that promote healthy lifestyles and nutrition security, ultimately benefiting adults and vulnerable populations.

The Oklahoma 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program aims to enhance educational opportunities for students in low-performing schools. By providing academic enrichment, after-school activities, and family engagement, this program supports students in meeting Oklahoma's academic standards. Eligible applicants include local educational agencies, non-profits, and community organizations, ensuring diverse participation. The initiative focuses on a collaborative approach to improve educational outcomes and foster community involvement in children's education.

The Diminished Tree Species Grant Program focuses on restoring native tree species crucial for biodiversity and forest health. By funding scientific research, seed orchard development, and land preservation, the program aims to combat climate change through effective tree restoration projects. The Oak Hill Fund, a private entity, encourages project-specific applications, prioritizing organizations that meet eligibility criteria under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS. The Carl C. Anderson Sr. & Marie Jo Anderson Foundation Grant supports organizations that assist low-income and vulnerable populations in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The Community Foundation is home to 50 scholarship funds established by generous individuals, organizations and businesses to help students from our community and surrounding areas pursue their dreams through education. 

AIA WF Architecture College Student Scholarship

The AIA WF Architecture College Student Scholarship fund was opened at WFACF in 2024, by the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects. It is for graduates of the local area pursuing a degree in architecture entering their sophomore year of college, with preference for students intending to return to our area. There are (2) one-time $2,000 scholarships available for students attending Texas A&M, Prairie View A&M, Texas Tech, University of Houston, UT Arlington, UT Austin, UT San Antonio, or Oklahoma State. 

The OK Specialty Crop Block Grant, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, aims to enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops through projects that benefit both domestic and foreign markets. Funding is based on specialty crop acreage and production value. Eligible initiatives include pest control, food safety enhancements, and market development, all designed to promote sustainable agriculture and measurable outcomes for Oklahoma's agricultural sector.

The Sunstate Equipment Foundation Grants support local charities focused on disadvantaged individuals, medical aid, housing assistance, domestic violence awareness, military and veterans' assistance, and care for abused animals. Founded in 2015, the foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that matches employee contributions dollar for dollar, reinforcing its commitment to community support and engagement. Charities in good standing can apply once every 12 months, fostering impactful initiatives where Sunstate operates.

The Employees Community Fund (ECF) of The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City empowers employees to contribute to their communities through pooled donations for over 60 years. This employee-managed fund supports 501(c)(3) health and human service agencies in the area, ensuring impactful grantmaking for services ranging from youth development to social services. The ECF fosters a strong commitment to community engagement, enabling Boeing employees to make a meaningful difference in their local communities.

The Giving Branch Scholarship, funded by Flat Branch Mortgage, Inc. employees, aims to support working adults in pursuing higher education within the communities served by Flat Branch. This scholarship offers financial assistance ranging from $500 to $5,000, targeting individuals aged 25 and older who meet specific employment, residency, and academic criteria. By investing in education, the Giving Branch Foundation seeks to empower local residents and contribute positively to the community.

The Fiscal Year 2026 Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program in Region 6 aims to enhance community flood risk awareness and management through the development of flood hazard data and maps. Funded by FEMA, this initiative supports local decision-making and responsible planning across various sectors, ensuring communities are better equipped to reduce flood risks. The total funding for this program is $41 million, distributed across nine regions, facilitating improved flood information delivery and risk reduction efforts.

The FY 2026 Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program, funded by FEMA, allocates $41 million to enhance flood risk management in Region 8. This initiative empowers local communities to develop flood hazard data and maps, fostering public awareness and informed decision-making. By bolstering flood mapping capacity, CTPs play a crucial role in reducing flood risk and promoting responsible planning across various sectors, ultimately contributing to community resilience against flooding.

The Royalty Fields Grant Program, presented by the Kansas City Royals Foundation, supports the enhancement of youth baseball and softball facilities across the Midwest. This initiative offers matching grants for major renovations, including essential upgrades such as new sod, infields, fencing, and dugouts.
