Swinton Scholars Fund
This scholarship is open to applicants who are 1st or 2nd generation immigrants to the United States and are graduating seniors from John R. Rogers High School or Ferris High School in Spokane, WA. Applicants must be accepted or enrolled at a public 2- or 4-year college or vocational school, or a private 4-year college in Washington State. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Valley Scholarship and Innovation in Education Award Scholarship
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or graduates who have attended the Valley School District #70 in Stevens County, WA for a minimum of 4 years. Home-schooled students from the area may also apply if they participated in in-person activities at the Valley School District #70. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 2.5.
The review committee will consider school activities, community service, and employment/work experience. Previous recipients of this award are eligible to reapply.

Valley Scholarship and Innovation in Education Award - Teacher Innovation Award
Applicants must be teachers of the K-12 grade level in the Valley School District #70, Stevens County, WA.
Preference will be given to new or experienced teachers who: cultivate educational environments that enable students to meet college and career goals, experiment and apply new approaches, technologies, curricular enhancement, course design and assessments, or improve teaching skills.

Willard and Patricia Hennings Scholarship
The scholarship is open to any graduating senior or graduate of Lind-Ritzville, Washtucna, Connell, or Kahlotus High Schools. Homeschooled students from the region of the listed high schools are also eligible to apply. The scholarship may be applied to all levels of post-secondary education, including 2- and 4-year college and technical/vocational schools, with full-time enrollment status required. Financial need, academic excellence, and evidence of good personal character are considered.
Previous recipients of this award are eligible to reapply provided they have maintained a minimum 3.2 college GPA and are enrolled full-time.

H. David Faust Memorial Scholarship Fund
A native of Philadelphia, David made his home in West Palm Beach for more than 20 years. He was the administrative partner of Steel, Hector, Davis, Burns & Middleton (now Steel Hector & Davis), as well as attorney for the towns of Ocean Ridge and South Palm Beach. Additionally, he taught law courses at Palm Beach Community College. David was extremely active in his church, and served as a board member of the Community Foundation for six years. He was instrumental in starting the scholarship program.
Dave always said that he was content with his life, that it had been a good and satisfying one, and it surely seems to have been – a successful career, a prestigious and challenging practice, a prominence in the community, the bar, his church and his firm, blessed with a healthy and accomplished family, with a wife whose love, strength and enormous depth have been demonstrated so magnificently over this past year – all these were David’s. And perhaps, most important of all to him, was his deep and abiding faith in God. David’s life is an exemplar to all of us – the perfect partner, the great counselor, the outstanding lawyer, the effortlessly skilled leader, the caring father and husband. While he was here, he set a course for all of us in our daily lives which we will be proud to point to and should hope to emulate.”

The Light the Way Teacher’s Scholarship was established by retired educators Jeff and Lola to support students pursuing careers in education. The scholarship is available to residents of Clark County who are current college students entering their third or fourth year of undergraduate coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in education. Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service, have earned a minimum 3.0 GPA in college coursework, and show financial need. The Jay and Diane Zidell Scholarship was established to support working individuals seeking to improve their personal and financial circumstances through education. The scholarship is available to residents of Clark County, Washington who are employed at least 10 hours per week while attending an accredited college, university, technical, or career school, with no minimum enrollment requirement. Awards are typically $2,000 and may be renewable for students who continue to meet eligibility criteria and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Graduating high school seniors and graduate students are not eligible for this scholarship.

“I Have A Dream” Scholarship in Honor of Mary and Dick Granger
This scholarship was created to honor Mary Granger, Founder of "I Have a Dream" Southwest Washington and the success of the program. Mary and her husband, Dick Granger, along with several other individual donors sponsored four Dreamer Classes in the Vancouver Public Schools. The Dreamer Classes were adopted at the following elementary schools: Washington (1995), Hough (1997), Harney (1999), and Martin Luther King (2001). Of over 300 "Dreamer" students, 90% graduated high school on-time after participating in the long term academic enrichment and mentoring program. This scholarship is renewable. Renewal applicants will have special consideration or priority, if they show good standing at their institution and continuing financial need. Award amounts may vary each year.
